  2. Currently, it is possible to adapt our registration cards in MEWS. However, if we do so, the registration card that a guest sees during their online check-in does not change. Both registration cards should be similar with the same data required.

  4. Hello,

    I have 3 proposals to make:

    First of all, in Spain we use different forms for the travelers registration. Besides the options mews give it to us, we use another forms such as: Spanish residence permit, European residence permit or ID CARD. We cannot find it in the programme. We only find: National identity document, Driver license, Visa or Passport.

    I want to ask if it is possible to add that kind of types in our MEWS system.

    Also, In Spain we have two surnames. So when we have foreign people from all over the world with just one…

  5. It would be great if guests would receive an automatic e-mail after departure to review their stay and if we could choose to show these reviews to other guests in the distributor when choosing/booking a room.

    Alternatively, guest can be asked to provide review during online check-out as well.

  6. at the "arriving customer profile" and "in house customer profile" reports the E-Mail address is missing on the browser view.
    This view is used from reservation and reception to ensure that the profiles are completed.
    As the E-Mailadress is important for the whole communication (pre arrival, during stay, post departure and marketing) it is important to get an easy excess to the information on which profile the E-Mail address is missing.

  7. We're facing difficulties in some properties where under aged guests are checking in online. There should be a way to stop those online check in. At the moment they could just pick up the key on the operator kiosk and go to the room. Therefore we would accommodate them, without knowing they are under the allowed age, which is against the law. We do have the responsibility to control the age of the guest. This already happened and cause complains and frustrations on hotel and guest side.

  9. Why is it that if a name is entered incorrectly at reservation, that if it is updated in the system, it doesn't show up as changed on the timeline or the guest's dashboard?
    It's not until you go completely into the guest's profile that you can see the changes.
    EG: A guest uses the name Bob at reservation then later asks for it to be under Robert Dawson. The name Bob is the only thing that shows on the timeline and dashboard

  10. Please make the Messages/chatfunction optional or opt-out.
    We don't want to use this tool to communicate since we now have to keep an eye on yet another system. Next to our socials, Whatsapp, mail, phone etc. etc.

  11. Display the description of the Rate Group on the payment page. It is cumbersome to users that the only way to communicate deposit and cancellation policy text is within each and every rate plan. It is not sustainable and lots of opportunity for error. The policy text should be associated with the rate group not the rate plan and should display on the payment page.

  13. When downloading the rooming list and opening the excel sheet. There doesn't seem to be any order to how the rooms are lined up.

    It would be good if there was some type of order so that when creating bigger group reservations, it is easier to fill in the rooming list.

    The most preferred way is if the rooming list could have all the space categories "clumped together" ie

  15. It would be good to have an history of name changes in guest profiles. It would also be very useful if we could find profiles even when searching for the old name in the search bar. That way we could find a reservation using an original email from the client, evenif the name in the reservation changed.

  16. When checking in guests "manually" it would be nice be be able to "force" a registration card to show up in the operator. Imagine walking to a check in desk, saying your name, and the receptionist makes your registration card appear on a tablet in front of you for you to fill in.
    It would connect the "kiosk" option from hostels, with the personal service of hotels.

  17. Quotation now shares a mail template with optional reservation. They should be separate in order to make good use of the quotation function in commander. Without a separate mail template, the quotation function is worthless in my opinion.

  19. Wanneer je de namenlijst downlaod met de nieuwe groepsfunctie (multiple reservations). Pakt die alle reserveringen in die profiel, dit is niet handig want voor groepen heb je wel is verschillende namen per reservering ( denk aan tourboekingen). Daarnaast als je de namenlijst downlaod staat alle datums door elkaar, dit is niet in te vullen op een normale manier. Alvast bedankt!

  20. Please allow properties to disable the online check-in function at the guest portal.

    It is great that guests can access the guest portal, use the chat, see the reservations and fill in personal details as well as personal details of the other members that are traveling.

    We would like to keep the "chat with us" placeholder in the confirmation and prearrival email templates so guests can access the guest portal, check their reservations, chat with our reservations' team and fill in personal information, but deactivate the online check-in option.

    By default the online check-in is not activated when the reservation…
