  1. Create a seperate option to choose charge card online and terminal payments as user rights.
    E.g. our front office should only charge via the terminal and not cards via MEWS.

  2. When searching for merge of Customer profiles, is it possible to add a filter, so that similar profiles with existing profiles at the hotel (reservation +1) to be shown on the list? Instead of only the name and email ?
    For exp Daniel Andersen (Reservation +1) and possible email ?
    This would make the merging of customer profiles a bit quicker !

  3. As a hotel that operates fully digitally with self check-in and digital keys, we’ve occasionally encountered cases where a guest was accidentally checked in on Mews, even though their reservation balance hadn’t been paid.

    To avoid such situations, it would be great to have a restriction option that prevents Mews users from checking in guests until their outstanding balance is settled.

    Ideally, this restriction could be configurable, allowing exceptions for certain segments, such as corporate or group bookings that have agreements to pay after the stay.

  4. It would be helpful to have the possibility to choose the bill counter for companies or some guests. So you don't have to search for it on the counter list and avoid possible mistakes

  7. Problem: When posting Bookable service items for the entire posting period, users can’t set a custom price and must edit each day individually, which is slow and error prone.

    Request: Allow entering a single unit price or a total amount at posting time for Bookable service items; the system applies or distributes it across all days. Add a one click bulk edit to update the price of all already posted daily items in a period at once

    Enable automatic updates of product prices for existing reservations, with an option to offset package-inclusive stay services to maintain the originally agreed daily package rates.

    Background / Problem

    Currently, price changes apply only to future reservations. Existing reservations remain locked at the old product prices, which:

    Causes revenue leakage when product costs rise.

    Requires manual corrections by staff, leading to inefficiency and errors.

    Creates package inconsistency: updating the product price increases the overall daily package rate, which conflicts with guest-confirmed agreements.

  9. Please make it possible to edit an invoice more than 7 days after the guest’s check-out.

    Ideally, this option could be restricted to the owner only.

    Errors can happen (e.g., adding products, incorrect prices, etc.), and sometimes corrections are needed later.

    It’s also important in cases where the only person who issues invoices (myself) is unavailable, for example when I am out of the office or on holiday.

  10. It would be nice if restrictions could be set that don't expire. our hotel can only be booked 180 days in advance. I currently have to renew this restriction every three years. Am I the only one who finds this inconvenient?

  11. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be assigned a deadline or to close them. While this covers the basic workflow, it leaves a gap in team communication and task visibility.

    I’d like to suggest introducing an additional task status, for example, “In Progress” to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    Why this would be valuable:

    Improved coordination: Prevents multiple team members from picking up the same task unknowingly.

    Transparency: Makes it clear which tasks are actively being worked on versus those still pending.

    Clear lifecycle: Having statuses such as To Do → In Progress → Done…

  12. To better assist Rental Properties (Monthly Bookable Period) - it would be useful to consider creating an AR page that would
    (1) allow clients to review the accounts and bills by month,
    (2) run invoices by batch,
    (3) Bulk Issue Invoices, and
    (4) improve billing automation to allow multiple (up to 2) automations per Monthly bookable service.

  13. Currently, there is a hidden character limit for the Directions field in the configuration page of a space. When exceeding the limit, there is no warning & after saving the field resets to empty. Displaying the character limit will help stay within the boundaries and save time re-entering the directions to the Space.

  14. I’d like the Out of Service function to work more like the Out of Order function, with the ability to set a start and stop date/time. The room should remain bookable, but it would be really helpful if the reason and timeframe were displayed more visibly on the timeline screen.

    This would be a game changer for our maintenance team’s ability to communicate with the front desk. Sometimes they’re working in a room that we still want to keep sellable, and having a clear, visible note on the timeline would make it much easier to seamlessly share that information between…

  16. I don't know why the rate management screen has been changed but it's dreadful. I used to be able to click on individual days and quickly change the price but now can't. Can it be changed back please? Or give a quick edit option?

  17. I am reaching out to request a feature update that would allow rates to be suppressed on reservations. This functionality is very important to our daily operations, as many of our corporate accounts prefer to book reservations for their associates without disclosing the rate to them.

    This capability was available to our corporate clients in our previous PMS, and the inability to suppress rates now creates challenges and can negatively impact our business relationships with these clients.

  18. När vi gör ankomstlistan för nästa dag "Reservation overview report" så tar det för lång tid nu - ni har ändrad detta nyligen (ca. 10 dagar sedan)
    Vi vill INTE att det hoppar tillbaka till toppen av listan när man korrigerat en ankomst. Vi vill komma tillbaka till listan på den rad/bokstav där vi är.

  19. a direct way to set minimum length of stay restrictions that depend on the booking window—for example, enabling 1-night stays when booked within a week of arrival but requiring a 2-night minimum otherwise. lead-time-specific rules would make for a better occupancy and facilitate further processes.

  20. Hi,

    It would be great to see at a glance the gateway state of a bill sent on the guest/company dashboard.
    We can see it was “sent” but it doesn’t mean it was received.

    Gateway State let us know when dropped - for example, there was a typo in the email address

    We could more easily identify when invoices have never reached our customers.

    Do you think that would be feasible?
