Request to increase the Reservation Group Size. The current reservation group size of 500 reservations is not sufficient and is creating operational issues for large-size Hotel Venues.

Lowest Rate
One should be able to insert in the configuration the lowest rate to be typed when updating rates (BAR) so that no typing error can be made (for instance 9 instead of 99).

changing dates
When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

Configure products to be used for multiple categories
When creating products you can only select one category. Which means when creating routing rules. You have to create a product for each ratecode each time. Which will create an unnecessary long product list. Please create a drop down menu where you give the option to select multiple categories.

Timeline room status - hover for description
For colour blind staff the dots for dirty, inspected, clean etc. do not help. It would be useful to hover over the room number to see the status rather than having to open each room.

Add a comment on an open invoice for colleagues
It would be nice if you could write a comment for the team on open invoices in the settlement window, or if you could "lock" the invoice for other colleagues to edit.
This can be very helpful, for example, if you Have to consult with the customer regarding the invoice and want to mark this so that someone else does not write to the customer again.

Different accounting category for the same type of transaction with different currencies.
We need to differentiate the accounting category of the same type of transaction with different currencies. For example: Cash payment in CZK could have different accounting category than Cash payment in EUR.

Message
In the Messages (Chat with Guest) it would be very useful to at least display the Room Number (Apartment ID) of the Guest after or before his Name...
We always need to go back to timeline to find this info while chatting with the guest... very annoying and almost impossible with app on smartphone.

Change room status Stayover (clean) automatically to dirty overnight
Housekeepers change dirty stayover rooms to clean after a stayovercleaning. The room status does not change automatically overnight. As the guest is the day after also a stay over and needs cleaning aswell.

The housekeeping system in Mews is currently based off cleaned rooms being inspected by a supervisor including for overnight stays. When rooms are inspected, they are then turned dirty overnight.
Would you be able to share some examples of why rooms would not be inspected by a supervisor or manager for overnight stays?

highlight entire booking in specific color when room is ready
Ready colours for check-in highlight the entire box of the booking so there is confidence from the team that the room is ready.

Add extra tab in Reservation Overview report for early check-in
Check-in Queue. If a guest arrives but the room is not ready, there should be a function that we can check-in to show they are in the building awaiting on the room.

Remove the new billing screen
New billing screen is not making payments any easier to sort out. Can this be reverted back to the old billing screen.

Guest Credit limits
Guest Credit Limit report to mitigate the risk of potential for bad debt write offs in the event of a client dispute and of being unable to recover monies owing, resulting in bad debt write-offs. Allows for a a daily review and follow up with guests when balance above hotel's limit. Ensure no guest ledger folios with cash status and debit balance outstanding.

Availability Blocks pick up pattern
When I enter a block pattern (example: 4-7-5-5-3) the system makes me pick the rooms up as if I have 4 rooms staying for one night, then 7 rooms staying for one night, then 5 rooms staying for 2 nights etc. instead of staggered arrivals with different lengths of stay like blocks typically are. Can that be changed?

Thank you for your suggestion. Availability blocks in Mews allow for availability to be adjusted per space category per day as you have described above. When availability is adjusted, a set number of spaces are removed from public availability per day.
It is possible to support staggered arrival dates within an availability block, however the arrival dates are limited within the contractual constraints agreed upon i.e the number of spaces made available per day.
Based on your example above, it appears that you are referring to run of house reservations. Is that the case?

Individual Rounding
There should be a possibilty to round up rates as customors wish. As per example here in Switzerland the smallest coin is CHF 0.05. Some prices, e.g. set up with a percentage off the base rate, are shown as CHF 181.07

Changing rates for all room categories at once
We should be able to modify rates for multiple room categories at once. When we modify rates for a given period we should be able to select the period and then enter the rate for each category of rooms instead of having to click - re-enter the dates and then the rate.

Usernames to be fully controlled by Admin
Admin to have own the rights to be able to change employees usernames, currently all employees can change their usernames themselves

Bed Configuration Status
Currently we have several rooms with King beds that can be split into a Twin configuration. When the Housekeeping team "Clean" the room , it would be great to have an additional status option which they can choose to identify the current bed configuration - i.e. has the room been cleaned and reset to a "King" configuration or a "Twin" configuration. This would help greatly for Reservations staff when allocating rooms, as well as give clear guidance to Front Desk staff for walk-ins.
