changing room type
while changing the room type from the property tab under the reservation for the same day reservation or for the future it is hard to change to room type without knowing if the other room type is available on that day or not so while making those changes the mews can show the room type in red if the front desk in moving the reservation to already booked room type.

Deactivate automatically closing of invoices (deposits)
Due to the change that already closed invoices cannot be rewritten to company, it is mandatory that MEWS absolutely does not close any invoices automatically. Payments that are received directly after posting, for example, are posted directly against the product and the invoice is closed. Here I can not change the company address from now on. However, on this first invoice the tax statement is visible. If this invoice is charged back and recreated so that it is issued to the company, unfortunately the tax statement is missing here. Stay restricition: change CTA to midnight instead of standard check-in time
At the moment CTA restrictions are applied as of check-in time (ie. 3pm 3 days prior to arrival) for channel bookings. However, mews applies this in the distributor as of midnight (ie. 3 days prior to arrival). We would need all channels and the distributor to have the setting applied at the same time (midnight), to avoid parity issues.

Allow to select multiple rooms when creating a new 'out of order block'
It is sometimes necessary to block more than one room out of order (an entire floor or entire building in the event of large scale refurbishment work, for example) and it would be helpful to be able to place multiple rooms 'out of order' at once if they all should be blocked for the same dates and same reason.

Notifications of new reservations can be selected as read
It would be nice when notifications come in of new reservations, to be able to select them as read instead of clicking them one by one. It is important for our organization to check all reservations that are made online. Group reservations also come in regularly, now we have to click on all notifications one by one to mark it as read, then have to search again between the notifications where we left. If you could select the notifications and click as read, this would be easier.

Make the old availability report available too
The old occupancy report is still available but not the previous availability report.
We used this report daily to modify the distribution between room types (mainly for internet channels to increase available single rooms and decrease double). It was easy to read, to modify and with a clear view on several future days.
The new report doesn’t give a direct view on number of rooms available for each room category. The table is also less convenient when it comes to change these rooms allocations (several sub-menus whereas the access was easier before).

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us regarding the new availability and occupancy report.
We currently provide the option to swap back to the old Availability and Occupancy report, by selecting the button on the top right hand side of the new report labelled "Old Occupancy report. Selecting this button will switch you back to the old Occupancy report as requested. Once you are able to view the old Occupancy report, select the Availability under “Mode” filter.

There should be another template called " Receivable invoice" sent when invoice is issued that invites the recipient to pay via bank transfer.

Nous avons inclus nos lits supplémentaires dans le système mais pourquoi n'est il pas possible de voir leur disponibilité jour par jour? Nous avons dû créer un Excel pour faire cela et être sûr de ne pas être en surbooking de lit sup. Merci

Increase number of items bill
Currently we have a limit on the quota of the bills for 3000 items. Anything beyond that, the bill will not be closed and the profile will not be able to get checked-out. It is due to the reason that the overloaded amount of items can potentially cause the degraged preformance of the system.

SubTotals on Invoices
When reviewing Invoices, there are collapsable sections for each added "Item" during the guest's stay.
These sections should have subtotals for easy calculation and review.
For example - when a guest wants to see how much they paid in the spa yesterday, I should not have to add up each treatment they took to give them the total.
This wastes their time, and mine.

Invoice Status on Mews
Currently the Bill state only pulls in if it is open or closed.

Availability report to show correct details
In the availability report, the colomn on the left with the roomtypes, should always show the total number of rooms that you have of this roomtype.
Indepent if a room is OOO or not. Rooms OOO should be treathed as occupied, ie. only affecting the availability per day in the rest of the columns.2 votes -
Notification of optional reservation confirmation
If we make an optional reservation for our guests and send them our offer. The guests confirm the reservations through the link but the responsible employee/department do not get any information or notification, so it is problematic to keep track of these bookings. It would be great to get atleast a pop up notification if the guests confirm there reservations. This information is essential for internal planning for almost every property.

Remove 'Create a Key' option until the guest has checked in.
Currently we can 'Create a Key' for a reservation that isn't inhouse. I suggest this button isn't available for team members to click until the guest is in house. There is a 'Check in and Create Key' button which can be used initially, then once the guest is in house the 'Create a Key' button can be available to click. This will prevent guests being issued a key without being checked in accidentally.
