  1. Our Back of House staff needs the ability to see next-day activities in the Mews Operations app so that staff doesn't need to access the Mews Commander Dashboard on a laptop or phone when looking forward outside of today's operations.

  2. They is a example of the request of the customer. This functionality is available in Hotello and customers is looking to have the same in Mews. There is some examples:
    Example 1: I have a package for 3 nights:
    Night 1: Diner
    Night 2: Breakfast, lunch (apply after midnight per day per person) and diner
    Night 3: breakfast and lunch (apply after midnight per day per person)
    The problem right now is all items applied every night. In Hotello, they was able to select in the configuration with specific night the product should applies

  3. Copy a reservation to a future date

    Often returning clients make sometimes the same booking for different dates. It would be great to have an option to copy a reservation to another date to make the reservation process quicker.

  4. Companies can pay invoices by cash or external but not by Card. It would be helpful if this payment option was added.

  5. You can only select one rate plan but have the feature to select multiple segments, etc. Why not have the same feature for rate plans?

  6. Add an extra column to the timeline to add certain importnat and rate / occupancy related events such as conventions, sport, concert, in-house. Column should be right under the dates.

  7. Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

  9. When a guest e-mail address bounces, it would be helpful if and when a task is created in order to have a notification (and thus an actionable moment) for staff to verify and check the e-mail proactively, and not have the guest wait for an e-mail because of a typo...

  10. In a previous version of MEWS, we could add a Company address which was then added to the Invoice. A guest would then request the name of a company in which they could then reclaim/issue to the company. This information was clear on the Invoice under "Customer".
    With a new update of MEWS, unfortunately this option has been taken away and there is now "Associated with". On the invoice, the "customer" is the Guests name and address and the company is now under "Associated with".

    In Germany, this an issue, as when Guests claim their expenses, the Invoice reads with…

  11. Access to reservations, but read only. This is useful for smaller properties where for example the security guard needs to check passports/ID to make sure the correct person is in front of them.

    But then don't give them the access to make any changes to them.

  12. Customer work with private owners and manages apartment in their name. They would like to give the access to the owners with the overview of their units, revenue and reservations.

  13. We need to refine the filtering of the accounting ledger to display only entries that have already occurred, and excluding those that are scheduled for the future. To prevent entries labeled 'to be resolved' from appearing until after all items on a reservation have been completed. For instance, a reservation in our system is todasy 29.feb marked 'to be resolved,' but the guest will not check out until March 6th. We cannot send the invoice before after the guest has left the hotel..

  14. When generating the reservation report using the parameters in the drop-down lists, why can't we tick several items (like it's possible for the segments), but for all ? e.g. room categories or rates or nationalities or countries etc ?

  15. We greatly appreciate Mews Timeline. However, we are repeatedly making mistakes in recognizing what the arrival dates of reservations are. The confusion is that Monday Bookings are aligned under the word “Tuesday”, Tuesday’s under "Wednesday", and Wednesday’s bookings under "Thursday", etc. (it's left aligned)

    A simple fix for this would be to provide an option for us to select “Right Align” for the whole of the “DAY” row. This option would be very much appreciated.

  16. We would love that Mews develops an integration with the payment gateaway called Redsys. It is the most popular gateaway in Spain and it would simplify the majority of our payment transactions.

  17. The Check-out Report is currently showing the open balance for all the Guest Stays. But the Check-out Report just need to display the current Stay. So if we are linking payment to reservations this can easy fixed.

Could we have the possibility of coloring certain dates of the Mews calendar / planning of the establishment in order to reference the important dates of the year (events, holidays, vacations...). With, if possible, the possibility of adding a text when you pass the cursor over the date in question.

    For example :
    - Put the date of July 14 in green with the text "Holiday: French National Day"
    - Put in red January 10 with the text "congress".

  19. Currently to get to the details section of a booking you have to click on the booking, move the mouse, and click detail.
    We should be able to just double-click the booking on the timeline and go directly into the details of the booking.
