  1. When moving items to a new bill, it will be great if we could have more options to filter the bills. For example, now, if we were to choose "Another Company" it will show all bills open on that company profile. But when we have hundreds of bills open (especially when created through billing automations), it is very hard to know which one is which. Ability to filter with the associated profile would be very useful.

  3. Currently, a product like breakfast (€20) is fully assigned to a single revenue center (“Breakfast”).
    💡 Proposal: allow automatic allocation of revenue across multiple centers, either by fixed amount or percentage (e.g., €5 beverages + €15 food).
    This would provide more accurate reporting, a true analytical view, and reduce manual adjustments.

    Note: Breakfast is just an example. This approach could be applied to many products and services across Mews PMS, POS & EMS.

  4. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.

    Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

  5. When nested spaces and standalone spaces share the same physical inventory and is part of the same space category, their availability is linked. The system
    should recognize that their availability is not linked when it comes to optimization of space assignment as reservation on the nested space does not automatically means it can be moved to the standalone space.

  7. Filter Options: Use the filter options to assign spaces based on criteria like space types, status, and floors. This helps in narrowing down the spaces visible to each housekeeper.
    Access Control: Unfortunately, the Mews Housekeeping App does not currently support restricting access based on working days or preventing the use of filter options entirely. Housekeepers can still see all spaces but can only update the status of those assigned to them.

  8. Currently, the 'manage reservation' screen for groups does not show a summary of the total cost for the group, but only shows the total of each individual reservation.

    With optional reservations, there is no bill added to the 'billing' tab yet, so there is no (easy) way to verify how much the total cost is for the group reservation. This causes difficulties especially when sending out quotes to the guest.

    Can we please implement a log for user management actions?
    Right now, there is no tracking in place to see who created, deleted, or modified a user. Adding this log will help us monitor changes, ensure accountability, and maintain accurate records.

  10. Bitte fügt als zusätzlichen Stornierungsgrund "Krankheit" hinzu. Dies ist der meist genannte Grund für eine Stornierung. Wenn ich "Sonstiges" auswähle und dann als Detail "Krankheit" eingebe, wird auf der Rechnung mit den Stornogebühren als Grund "Sonstiges" angezeigt. Wenn der Gast diese Rechnung seiner Versicherung einreicht für die Rückerstattung, ist diese Formulierung sehr unglücklich, dort müsste zwingend "Krankheit" stehen. Covid-19 als Grund könnt ihr gerne entfernen, diesen Grund brauchen wir zum Glück schon länger nicht mehr.

  11. Have the possibility to create a copy of an existing block reservation and just change the dates, booker, room types, price, room amount if needed. If the same company has a series of blocks we can just make a copy of the first block and change the details

  12. Allow for multiple versions of the same parent space/room linked with different combinations of child rooms.

    For example, create Villa 1 with (101 as the parent) and 102, 103 and 104 as the children, but we also want to create Villa 1 connector (with 101 as the parent and only 102 as the connecting suite).

  15. When working on group bookings, allow the on-screen reservations on the right-hand side to be sorted by room number or guest name and not only by display categories. Same with the exported Excel template for groups (which has no actual logic at the moment from one group to the enxt)

  16. I would like OTA-delivered Special Requests (stored in the reservation Properties tab) to be visible in reservation reports and in the Arrivals preview, so staff don’t miss guest-specific details. This is counter intuitive to the highly personalized service we strive for.

  17. We have basement rooms that we only use in emergencies. These rooms are normally locked throughout the year.

    Currently we have to report the rooms as clean every morning so that they do not appear in hotelkit for room cleaning.

    It would be great if OOO rooms could be excluded from the housekeeping interval.

  18. Es wäre schön, wenn man die Anreise-/Abreiseliste nach Nachnamen oder Zimmernummern sortieren könnte. Die Option "Gruppieren nach" nimmt viel zu viel Platz weg.
    Es ist sehr zeitaufwändig, jeden Tag eine neue Excel-Liste zu erstellen. Das wäre mit einem Knopfdruck sehr viel effektiver.

  19. We're new to MEWS and whilst the functionality is brilliant (thank you), our front of house team really struggle with the visual appearance of the timeline. Spending lots of screen time on a screen with poor visual appearance and contrasts is not healthy and inefficient as it is difficult to see the timeline at a glance - please could you look at improving visual contrasts both colours and lines between dates/spaces for improved accessibility.
