  1. It would be very useful for us to be able to see the trends for when people arrive for breakfast on different weekdays/times of year, to see when and where we should most efficiently use our staff.

    Therefore it would be nice if it was possible to filter the product report in such a way that you can view which products are "checked" at which times on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

    Similar to (or the same as) how we check when most people check in and out in the Activity Report.

  2. I don't want to send confirmation emails to 3rd party OTA's. They send through the 3rd part platform and may show a rate code which is a violation of the agreement between hotels and OTA's. Example: Expedia collect - the commission is taken from the room rate, so what the guest sees is lower than what the guest pays. This causes issues as the guest will be confused and disgruntled thinking they somehow are getting overcharged by Expedia.

  3. Reservations checked in after midnight don’t show as stayovers in the morning. This creates confusion for the housekeeping team as the rooms don’t come up in their Space Sratus report.

    Our Housekeeping team assign dirty rooms to Room Attendants from Mews Space Status report.

    They view three reports:

    Departed or departing
    Stayovers
    Arrived or arriving

    Reservations checked in after midnight come under arrived however the guest booked and stayed last night and should receive stay over service.

  5. When a guest has already booked its room, they might add extra services prearrival. At the moment these services are added to the booking, we would love if Mews could take the payment directly. At this moment, we can only configurate automatic payments for room and breakfast, nothing else.

  6. We are a small events venue with 22 guest rooms. When we get a wedding room block it is almost always for all rooms on property. When setting up a block, we add all 22 room categories one by one. We would really love it if there was a bulk add option all space categories to the block. Also helpful if there was a way to then allocate all available rooms in a category and not click on each category to adjust the number of spaces held.

  7. As a property that hosts guests for long stays, it is important to know what guest is associated with what product.

    When a product is charged (1x) and consumed by one person and two people are on a reservation, there is no way to determine what guest is associated with what product. This gets more complicated the more products purchased that are for single consumption.

  8. Add ability to manager employee supervisor in MMP. This would be helpful for the new Mews University reporting, etc. currently it seems we still have to manage the supervisor settings at the property level. this makes it harder for managing corporate or multi property staff.

    Currently in mews we see that you handle a different exchange rate every day, can you help us to see this exchange rate reflected in the main panel of mews?

    Since currently the team has to be doing the manual calculations to know how much is the dollar exchange rate that is used every day, and this takes us time to be analyzing and taking out the exchange value of the dollar day by day.

    I hope you can support me with this information in the part of the mews panel so that it is visible…

  13. Add to the current list of Interval option of a Continuous 7 days that begins the report at "Current Day 00:00 to +7 days at 00:00"

    This would allow a daily export of product services sold to show any 7 days out at all times and would also include any late changes that happen for last minute bookings with a cancellation period, add-ons over the phone, and so forth. This is extremely beneficial for a Front Desk Supervisor or Manager to see what is happening that day and prepare for the days to come before a guest arrives without having…

  14. Currently rooms have to be either:

    1) Dirty
    2) Clean
    3) Inspected
    4) Out of Service
    5) Out of Order

    However, some rooms may be Out of Service for a 'last let' reason and therefore may be Inspected and ready to go (but the team want to be aware that these rooms should only be used last). I think Out of Service and Out of Order should be separate room statuses and can be stackable with the clean state of the room.

  15. Hello,

    Just want to give feedback and maybe you do have this issue under your To Do list.

    Guest's check in and check out in mews.
    Then guests do have reservations for next night and next next day, for different rate etc.

    Reception is not able to make key in the same room for two different reservations, in this case we do it manually. Sometimes, payment is paid, key cards are made, the CHECK IN button is forgotten.

    Same situation, if a guest checks out and pays his bill, then some sale spich and reception forgot to press the CHECK…

  16. I'd like to make a suggestion regarding our hotels. As they are owned by multiple owners, each one is assigned different rooms. Profit sharing is based on the revenue generated by these rooms. Therefore, we need each room to have a separate accounting account

  17. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  18. It is recommended to setup daily or even hourly exports of important reports to prepare for possible desasters. Only Enterprise Subscribers may choose and FTP Export Target. All others are limited to email exports. However, this way massive amounts of sensitive customer data is transmitted over possibly insecure connections (unencrypted email / SMTP). That could be a GDPR violation!
    I suggest making secure/encrypted sFTP Exports available for everyone and/or implement a way to guarantee secure email transmission (at least SMTPs with certifcate pinning).
