Change room status to dirty already on departure date not only after check out
We like to do the room cleaning every 2 days for stayovers. This works fine with the intervall setting. But when it comes to the check out, it gets a bit confusing when the cleaning staff is using the app. Sometimes rooms are vacant very early and the reception is not informed about it. So the cleaning staff see only the room as checked and not as dirty, cause the room is not checked out. Not be able to check in to a dirty room
We are struggling with late check in after the front desk staff has gone home.
for example, a person books 21:00 arrives 23:00 but the front desk went home 20:00.
The guest got assigned to a dirty room and the kiosk lets the person check in.
Would like MEWS to assign the guest to inspected rooms first. And stop the guest to check in to a dirty room.3 votes -
omboarding knowledge hub
Hi Team,
I’ve noticed that the "Onboarding Knowledge Hub" icon is constantly visible on the screen, and currently, there’s no way to remove or hide it. While I understand its purpose, it tends to interfere with daily work, especially when using Mews on smaller screens or mobile devices.
On smaller screens, the icon isn’t movable, which means I often have to rotate the entire device just to access parts of the interface. It would be really helpful to have an option to deactivate or hide the icon when it's not needed.

Rate for additional nights enhancement
Currently, once we click on the “Rate for additional nights” option, we can only choose our standard (public) rates, even though the initial reservation was created for a company rate. It would be great if that feature were extended.

View Uninvoiced and Uncharged Past Billings
It would be great to have an option to view all past billings that are at €0.00 and do not yet have an issued invoice (i.e., the payment has not been closed), as well as a report showing all past reservations that still have postings on it and have not been charged at all.

Allow custom rules to automatically apply guest classifications
It would be really useful if you could create custom rules that automatically apply guest classifications. E.g. once a guest completes 3 stays, they are marked as Important, then once they have completed 5 stays, they are marked as VIP.
Similarly, it would be great if there was also an option to retroactively these rules, e.g. Mews could identify all guests that have 3 completed stays and classifies them as Important, or if they have 5 or more it classifies them as VIP instead of important.

Enddatum anpassen
Das Anliegen ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber es wäre toll, wenn man irgendwo ein Anfangsdatum anlegen muss, dass das Enddatum automatisch NACH dem Anfangsdatum wäre. Wenn man Restriktionen erstellt, ist es ja auch immer so, dass wenn ich z. B. "von 1.6.25" anklicke, bei "bis" automatisch ein Datum ab dem 1.6.25 wählbar ist.
Bei vielen anderen Punkten im System ist es nicht so, da steht dann bei "bis"-Daten immer automatisch das heutige Datum, also z. B. wenn ich einen Promocode anlege und bei "für Reservierungen ab dem..." den 1.6.25 anwählen würde, lande ich bei "Reservierungen bis" wieder beim heutigen Datum…

Be able to limit rates
We have rates with rental services included. As we only have a limited number of stand-up paddles, for example, it would be great to limit this arrangement: “this rate can only be booked 5 times per night”.
I currently have to regularly check whether the rate has been booked in order to close it manually for these nights.1 vote -
Copy the number of ID to TAX identifier
So every night I have to copy the person ID number of every reservation that is checking out that day, to close bills properly during the morning check-out time.
My point is... Could it exist an automation that once you complete an ID / Passport number, it is copied to the TAX identifier directly?

Move a guest from a higher category to a lower category in the planning view
Currently, it is not possible to move a guest from a higher category to a lower category in the planning view. This restriction is particularly problematic when working with groups for whom the room type is irrelevant. Each time, you have to go to the reservation in question to make the change. This is a waste of time for us.
This restriction would be implemented to avoid making mistakes. But why not simply display a warning message, but still leave this option open?

Send new payment request after failed booking engine payment
When guests payment fails on Booking Engine (property's web page) - it would be good if a payment request is sent automatically and guests warned if they do not make the payment that the booking will be cancelled.
We are currently doing this manually and sometimes it is a lot of extra work.

Make guest-in-house report available from mobile app
In case of a fire event, it would be beneficial to have ability to open in house report from your phone on the Mobile App, especially if reception is the place that is on fire.

Let the base rate be a real base rate for other rates instead of individual rates for each room
In the basic rate, the price adjustment for additional occupancy or negative occupancy should be individually adjustable for each room. The invoices become increasingly distorted the greater the price difference between the rooms.
The children's prices should either be adjustable as a percentage or also be adjustable per room, as the distortions here are also very strong.1 vote -
Show overbookings of room categories in blocks on availability overview
There is a huge problem in Mews when it comes to availability blocks and overbooking.
Right now, if you for example have all existing standard rooms blocked in an availability block, and then there is an overbooking of a standard room, this overbooking will not show on the availability overview. It will just say that the availability for standard rooms is 0, and not -1. So then if you look at the availability overview, it will say for example that we have 0 standard rooms available and 1 superior room, so it looks like we have one room available, but…

It would be helpful to see in a snapshot the rates of each room along with its restrictions and be able to modify easily those MLOS and rat
It woudl be very helpful if we could visualize the calendar of availability along with the rates published and be able to see the MLOS restrictions and be able to modify these individually with 1 click.

Out of Order- Zeit ändern
Der Support bat uns, hier zu notieren, dass wir gerne die Voreinstellung der Uhrzeit für die "out of order" Einstellung ändern möchten. Aktuell steht diese auf 12 Uhr und muss in jeder einzelnen Sperrung auf die gewünschte Uhrzeit geändert werden. Da das Housekeeping über die App die Anreisebuchungen aber nicht sehen kann bis "out of order" gelöscht oder durch die Uhrzeit aufgehoben wird, möchten wir die Uhrzeit generell auf 8 Uhr setzen. Wäre also toll, wenn es die Einstellung gibt und jeder diese selbst bedienen kann.
