Functionality to stop overbookings
Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected. Streamlining Payment Entry During Reservation Creation
It would be much more efficient if we could add a new payment method directly while creating a reservation—without needing to first create a profile or open a separate tab. Many of us finalize reservations without a payment method initially, so having this option in the same workflow would really streamline the process.

issue a proforma for a block without any picked-up reservations
It would be nice to provide the proforma invoice when a group block is confirmed to share the initial preview without any picked-up reservations.

Gästeprofilnotizen im Mews-App für Housekeeping anzeigen
Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

Pricing tab of Reservation Screen: Add Date Picker on Change Rate Field
Allow clients to be able to custom-select different rate codes for a reservation via the "Change Rate" field in the Pricing TAB by adding a date picker feature.

Cancellation policies per room category within a single rate
We’d like the flexibility to define different cancellation policies per room category, without creating separate rates.
Example:
- Standard Room: free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival
- Suite with Sea View: free cancellation up to 14 days before arrivalBoth should be part of the same rate, shown consistently across booking channels and internal systems.

consumption date on the invoice preview
Is it possible to add a consumption date in the invoice preview for the products and services?
To see the consumption details we need to "print” the invoice to see the overview.

primary address
hi,
some of our cooperating companies have different billing addresses under the same name. At the moment the billing address is taken from primary address (which is the last added address). Can you enable: a) changing the primary address within company profile or b)choosing company address during the billing process?2 votes -

Hi, we need to filter by last name, but the export only contains first and last name in one cell, so we can only filter by first name.

Edit notes on products posted
When you post a product to a bill you have the possibility to add a "note" that is shown on the product on the invoice. However, once posted, you can not add a note afterwards or edit the note. Then you have to remove the product and add it again to write a new note! It would be better if you could jut edit or add a note after the product is posted on the bill.

Bookable Service Settings: Housekeeping Interval Field Improvement + Housekeeping Partners
Is it possible to consider not making this field mandatory to set the number of days, especially if the property wishes for their integration to default all space status changes, and Mews not to be the one changing the space to Dirty automatically.
If it must be mandatory, it would be useful if properties using "Housekeeping Integrations" could select their integration in a drop-down menu from that field to indicate that Mews will not automatically change the status of the space. The clients can revert back to Mews and Set the number of days as needed.

Estado de los Espacios
Sería muy útil poder generar un informe de "Estado de los Espacios" que ofrezca las siguientes opciones:
- Poder imprimirlo en horizontal (el .pdf se genera automáticamente en vertical y eso comprime la información y dificulta su lectura para el servicio de limpieza)
- Poder ocultar nombres de la reserva/huéspedes (por privacidad/protección de datos)
- Que aparezca algún gráfico que permita leer más fácil si hay una salida/entrada, bloqueo, libre, sucia, LCO, etc.
- Que se pueda ver la fecha de entrada/salida, duración de la estancia y cuántos días le quedan.
Para nuestro trabajo diario es imprescindible, sin embargo, debido a que el informe…

Create a deposit on an availability block
We need the possibility to create a deposit on an availability block even if there is no reservation been picked up yet from the block.
Often groups pay already a deposit but do not know the amount of reservations that need to be picked up, yet that deposit still needs to be posted somewhere.3 votes -
Make Digital Key available for guests who have booked more than one service
Currently if a guest has a reservation with more than one bookable service, let's say a room and a parking spot, they cannot get a Digital Key for the room.
The guest should always be offered a Digital Key when enabled on the property and the space, regardless of what other bookable service they have on the same reservation group.

Special event T&C
Just heard from MEWS premium support that it is not possible to apply a non refundable full deposit policy(For all Rates/Levels) to a certain date or date range for a special event. This is possible with other PMS providers so please could I ask for this feature to be created.

block same amount of rooms each day
Would be great if you can block same amount of rooms for the entire block each day rather than having to type in amount of rooms for each day.
