multiple task setting - templates
In a previous system we were able to set up templates for a task which consisted of multiple individual tasks.
For example if a guest had requested an extra bed, reservations would add one task to the booking which in turn triggered the tasks for housekeeping to set up the bed as well as remove it on departure).
This was SO handy as it avoided mistakes and reception / reservations only had to add 1 task.
Of course this works particularly well if you are able to link tasks to a specific event in the reservation like arrival and departure…38 votesHello Simone

optimize space allocation button
When using the optimize space allocation button and discrete option dont hide the overbookings in the preview.

See the difference of single use and double use in the booking summary
It would be helpfull to see in the reservation summery how many double use and single users are in the booking. Especially in group bookings, you need to count every time when the client adjust the number and forwards the namelist.

Edit Rooming List
I have 2 requests that both pertain to the rooming list functionality.
1) I would like to be able to edit rooming lists once they are downloaded. Right now, they download as locked excel spreadsheets. That means it is impossible to add notes, or simply delete columns that are not relevant. I would like to share rooming lists with clients, but that is not possible without being able to edit them.
2) If reservations within a group have two companions noted in the reservation, the rooming list duplicates each reservation, making the groups appear double in size. This is confusing,…

Start a new conversation with a guest. Now we can only receive messages from guests and reply when they started the conversation but not the other way around.

Change package name on bill
Currently it seems like it's not possible to change the naming of packages on a bill.
All packages appear with the name "Stay Package" on the bill.
It would be great if you could change the name to something more specific like "Gourmet package". Perhaps the product category name for the items in the package could decide the package name on the bill.14 votesHello all,

not able to change between services when making a copy booking
infuriating as it won't let me make a duplicate booking for the apartment but insists i need to book a cot. tried already three times

Company bill
Wenn eine neune Reservierung angelegt wird, inklusive der korrekten Firma / Firmierung , dann wäre es super wenn diese Firmierung / Firma sofort im Rechnungsbildschirm auf einer Rechnung auftaucht. Aktuell muss man immer die Firma manuell auf der Rechnung eintragen obwohl man diese bereits bei der Buchung hinterlegt hat. Es wäre schön, wenn das automatisch geschieht! Danke!

Reservation Rate modified original price should be in the action log
If only the reservation manager has access to the Rate Management in Mews, then when employees are changing the rate of the booking, they will not be able to know what was the original price of the rate. They will only see from the action log the original rate and not the original price.

Update departure date on selection
In the date filters, latest date remains in the past after earliest date has been set in the future.
To prevent additional manual work:
MEWS should automatically change the calendar date to a date later than the check-in date selected. For example, check in date 1/1/2021, check out date should default to 2/1/2021 (and not remain to todays date).54 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Show actual Guest in house Profiles when clicking on 'donut'
The donut on the right in mews shows how complete the guest profiles are. However, when you click on the GIH donut to have a detail, it shows you the arriving profiles as well. In order to see the actual GIH, you still need to change the filters. This is not logical, as you are clicking on GIH, mews should apply the filters accordingly and only show the profiles of the guests who are actually in house at that moment.

Provide staff access to Mews systems via Single Sign On
Not only to make it easier for employees but also to prevent people from having multiple usernames and passwords so that when someone is terminated, the access to all systems can easily be removed.

Space name in timeline and New Res screens are not consistent
In terms of standardization, there is no option to select name or short name, the short name will display on the timeline when the name does not fit. Same for all others screens on the PMS. Pending on how much space there is within relevant window, the space name could show in 3 different ways i.e "standard queen room" - "B1B" or even just "B" (for the timeline) if there is only 1 space within this category.

Action Log: Amend or Change of Restrictions
Being able to have an audit trail or log of restrictions that have been amended or deleted. Currently if a restriction has been deleted its gone. you cant see who deleted. With regard to amending restrictions yes you have been who and when but you don't know what has been amended/added

MEWS function to automate deposits with excluded rates
I understand there is a function in MEWS to automate the deposits for new reservations. Is there a way to exclude restricted rates from this automated process?
The rates we need to exclude are:
-OTAs (Expedia, booking.com, airbnb)
-AutoCamp Summit Club

Invoice status or copy of email received internally
Invoice status that will tell us if the invoice was sent and to which email address or for every invoice sent to the customer, copy would also be sent to selected internal email address.

Notification when merchant is selected
There are often double charges (merchant is selected, when payment has already been done with terminal). I would therefor like to see a WARNING/NOTIFICATION when you select merchant (e.g. are you sure you would like to charge the creditcard by Merchant / Are you sure that guest has not yet paid with terminal). If you select payment by card, you are automatically on the merchant tab, can it not be default terminal tab ? This to avoid double payments and chargeback issues. Thanks !
