I am happy to share the news that we have started to work on adding more flexibility to automated payments!
Our focus is to add more payment settlement rules that will reduce the manual time spent on payment processing and increase the flexibility around charging that your guests will love!

This would not be PCI compliant. the way we can solve this issue is by flagging the transactions correctly. for example if they are MOTO, or coming from a 3rd party. Please reach out to support if there are more questions on it, or email medina.vultur@mews.com or jovana.anicic@mews.com

Yes, even for virtual cards. Please bringt the field back as optional field.

Yes, that's a thing if you manually charge the card in advance the payment trigger sets in again as per the rule and then its a double charge.

can we done as part of the Long Stays recurring payments functionality. We already offer a flow for incidental. for this scenario the amount has to be hold for longer period of time.

Regarding the payment one useful field could be: "Automatic Payment settling" (99% of our reservations: OTA credit and virtual cards) and "Manual Payment settling" (bank transfers for Airbnb, Groups, companies, cash upon arrival). It's important so that the guest is not asked to pay or IS reminded when checking in.
