Equality of company and guest profiles
We often have the problem that companies do not provide guest names when booking. However, a guest name must be specified in the booking process.
It would therefore make sense to equate the company profiles with the guest profiles so that bookings are easier and guest names can be added later.

Email Templates Based on Day Of Week Arrival (to inform about upcoming events)
The ability to send out customized emails based on the day of the week a guest is arriving.
As a hotel that offers different events and tours during the week, we want to be able to notify a guest prior to their arrival with information that is pertinent to their stay & experience only.
Ie:
Guest is arriving monday.
They get email telling them about Monday Night Event, Tuesday Day Event, Tuesday Evening Event.Guest arriving on Wednesday.

Show real/more reservation details in Navigator.
The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

Separate template for quotation
Quotation now shares a mail template with optional reservation. They should be separate in order to make good use of the quotation function in commander. Without a separate mail template, the quotation function is worthless in my opinion.

Add "Extended" in Origin of Booking
When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.

Mobile view drops Property Name
When viewing the booking engine on mobile, the property name is dropped from view. You can still see a tiny logo, but that's it. Some sort of solution here would be helpful so the booker knows for sure what they're looking at.

Reservation Custom Fields or Tags
Having the ability to add custom fields to the operator system would be extremely helpful for specific use cases outside of the general hotelier playbook. Tags would also achieve the same result.
Example: ability to tag or flag reservations with "vehicle information" or "Missing ID" etc would allow for fine tuning reports. Currently, we have to add product rules with no value to flag reservations. It's a workaround, but would love to see the addition of tags and custom reservation fields.

Confirmation email sending to all guests if no master name selected
We have groups that stay that there is no one owner (as it has been booked by someone else) however we need each individual to register, the system does not send the email automatically as there is no main contact, having a tick option to send to individuals on the profile as preregistration/billing.

Export of booker email address
When you make an export of the reservation report grouped by booker, you won't have a column for the email address of the booker. It would be nice if this could be added for marketing purposes.

Calender drop down list arrival/depature date when adding new reservation
It should be nice to have a calender drop down list for the arrival and departure date when adding a new booking in the system. Now you have to swipe through the months and takes a lot of time, especially when it´s for reservations for 2022 for example.

Rename "the online check-in" to better reflect the feature's essence
Please have a look at this issue with the online check-in.
In short, we need the following to be activated when the guest proceeds with the online check-in option:
1. Identify if the room is ready prior to proceeding with the online check-in, if the room is not ready; then the guest won’t be able to check-in.
2. Guest information updated.
3. Get guest credit card information.
4. Charge the guest's credit card upon online check-in for the full stay/addons extras despite of the cancellation policy of the room rate.

Titles: Incorrect translation of Ms to Miss
At the moment, in the front end, it is possible to use titles Mr, Mrs and Ms. In the API, this then becomes Mister, Misses, Miss.
There is a difference between Ms and Miss and someone who is a Ms is not necessarily a Miss. There should be a way to indicate that a female guest does not want to share their marital status - by at least introducing two different titles for Miss and Ms in both Front End and API, but better still by updating the titels altogether to reflect modern age.5 votesHello all,

Profile Status Tagging
It will be very helpful if there is an additional function in MEWS that allows us to tag guest profile according to its status such as VIP Status. Flexible status will be good rather than a fixed status like the ones under Clasification. We have many different types of VIP Status so this function will be helpful.

A region as well as a nationality tab
With Covid restrictions we know all our arriving guests are New Zealand nationals, we would like an option to add a region so we can see better where our guests are travelling from, this would help us to run targeted ad campaigns and up our guest numbers

Add option of consent for receiving Marketing e-mails (GDPR reasons)
It would help a lot if we would have a tick box next to guest's e-mail address in Guest Profile where guests can give their consent or not in receiving Marketing e-mails. We need this feature for GDPR reasons.

Prioritizing automatic room assignment
We are using the automatic room assignment option from Top to Bottom but it would be great to be able to customize the order of rooms. As many others have mentioned there are rooms that properties would rather rent last for many reasons and would be ideal to prioritize them as last assigned regardless of the room number.
