  2. Currently if a use attempts to set an early arrival for a booking (especially Availability Block group) the early Check-In time is rejected because the block is missing the necessary adjustments. In other words, the system cannot consider early check-in due to conflict with the occupancy time established in the stay settings.

    However, this is an avenue for additional income and also for personalized service - clients often find themselves without many options when it comes to that.

    On top of the possibility to create "Early C/I products", there should also be a button that could facilitate an earlier check-in…

  3. We like to do the room cleaning every 2 days for stayovers. This works fine with the intervall setting. But when it comes to the check out, it gets a bit confusing when the cleaning staff is using the app. Sometimes rooms are vacant very early and the reception is not informed about it. So the cleaning staff see only the room as checked and not as dirty, cause the room is not checked out. If the housekeeping switch the status to clean before check out, the room will automatically marked as dirty after check out. Helpfully would be if…

  4. At the moment Mews only has a template when you send an invoice that thanks the guest for their stay, however the same are sent as reminder which then often get ignored by debtors.

    The option to create more standard emails, to create for example a different template for reminders of invoices would be a useful tool to improve the management from within Mews.

  6. Right now, it is only possible to see who has completed a digital registration card by navigating to a customer's profile. It would be helpful for registration card signatures to be tracked so the property can see who has and has not signed a registration card. Furthermore, some properties may require waivers. Right now the recommended way to include additional agreement terms is to add the text to the T&C document. There should be an option to add customized documents as well as the option to decide which documents should be trackable and uploaded to the customer profile.

  7. It would be a great addition to the system to have an action log or in some way showing which user made a price or hierarchy override, entered a note, etc in Atomize/Mews RMS.

  8. Flexible blocks. If I want to extend a reservation that is connected to a block, I have to go back and add rooms to the block before I can extend the reservation. With blocks that have been released I have to add the rooms twice (???), because the block releases them immediately after I save my changes, which is extremely time consuming and frustrating

  9. Das Anliegen ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber es wäre toll, wenn man irgendwo ein Anfangsdatum anlegen muss, dass das Enddatum automatisch NACH dem Anfangsdatum wäre. Wenn man Restriktionen erstellt, ist es ja auch immer so, dass wenn ich z. B. "von 1.6.25" anklicke, bei "bis" automatisch ein Datum ab dem 1.6.25 wählbar ist.

    Bei vielen anderen Punkten im System ist es nicht so, da steht dann bei "bis"-Daten immer automatisch das heutige Datum, also z. B. wenn ich einen Promocode anlege und bei "für Reservierungen ab dem..." den 1.6.25 anwählen würde, lande ich bei "Reservierungen bis" wieder beim heutigen Datum…

  10. Having the option to include Companions on the invoices. This is ideal for when we have multiple guests inside 1x space, and critical for Companies who require the entire guest list to be recorded on their invoices.

  11. It would be great to have the option to deactivate the service charge in additional services. Like a tick box where they could say if a service charge would apply or not.
    This would eliminate that the user charges the service charge by accident, leading to postings in wrong accounting categories, eventually even wrong VATs.
    Now with the new design where the service charge it is on top of all additional products, it is easier to fill in the service charge and forget about the product.

Wenn ein Geschäftsreisender seine Firmenadresse auf der Rechnung benötigt, dann muss erst die Zahlung über seine Kartei am Terminal erfolgen und dann können wir erst die Firma in der Rechnung hinterlegen. Es wäre besser, wenn auch über die Firmenkartei Zahungen über das Terminal getätigt werden könnten.

  13. It would be very helpful if the Mews Terminal could also be used to scan ID cards and collect guest signatures. This functionality is already common in many other markets and would allow small hotels, who cannot afford a full Mews Kiosk setup, to still benefit from a more automated and integrated check-in process.

    Ideally, there would be a new button (similar to the current webcam scan option) in the guest profile. When clicked, it would initiate a flow on the Mews Terminal:

    The receptionist takes a photo of the front and back of the ID using the terminal’s camera.

  14. I feel like a basic feaure for anyone who is using the internet for work is to use tabs in the web browser. Especially in the reception where you are often working on multiple things, and reservations at once.

    So that you cannot use the very common hot key CTRL + click to open a new tab is frustrating. That you cannot even use the old school way by right clicking is BEYOND frustrating.

  15. House use

    We had a "house use" block beginning held after our departure time and before our daily arrival time to perform some essential maintenance. Since then, we have managed to receive a booking the day prior and allows a stayover to the day that we had blocked for 4 hours! We had the house use in place so that we could still receive bookings departing and/or arriving that day but wanted to avoid stayovers. Mews have informed me "the house use is outside of the occupancy times and therefore it is not taken into account."

  17. Possibility to enable the use of specific Counters and Fiscal Printers only for some users/roles.

    Currently, the user must manually select the counter for the bill and the fiscal printer each time a document is issued. This leads to errors and makes issuing corrections very time-consuming. By allowing the assignment of which counters and fiscal printers a user or role is authorized to use, the overall user experience would be significantly improved.

  18. When making a user profile it would be nice to have an end of employment date or something similar that allows to account to freeze or pause when an employee is not working at the property anymore. This would be a safeguard for responsible user management. This combined with a reminder in advance for users who have user management configured that a user has to be deleted or his/her access has to be extended soon.

  19. Implement an improvement so that the payment related to outstanding invoices is displayed as in the payment tab of the customer profile (showing the invoice number that generated the account receivable), and not just the reference to the bill.
