Select multiple statuses and filters in Space Status Report
Problem:
We have to export multiple reports each day to plan housekeeping. No single report gives us a full overview, so we need to combine different filters (e.g. arrival, no arrival, dirty, out of order) manually. This is timeconsuming and increases the risk of missing houses.Solution:
Allow selecting multiple statuses and filters (e.g. “Dirty” and “Out of Order” or "arrival" and "no arrival nor stayover") in one report, so we can work from a single, complete list.74 votes -
Easier identification of groups
It would be great to have a way to visually identify which members belong to the same group within the timeline and check-in screen.
For example, groups could be represented through color coding, icons, or visual markers. This would make it immediately clear at a glance who belongs together, without having to check details or hover over tooltips.
Possible approaches could include:
Assigning a unique color to each group (e.g. pastel backgrounds or small colored indicators).
Adding group icons or symbols next to each member’s name.
Displaying group borders or headers to clearly separate teams or related entries.
This improvement…

Inventory count on products
Inventory on products should be possible. For instance limit a certain product such as pet to only x number sold pr. day.
As of now we have to close an entire product for all dates if this is sold out on one date.
This is causing loss of potential revenue as well as poor service for the guests.86 votes -
Restrictions: Automatic Availability Thresholds
Automatic availability rules that help hotels manage inventory more efficiently and prevent overselling—without requiring constant manual updates.
⭐ What Problem Does This Solve?
Right now, hotels must manually monitor room availability and apply restrictions (like closing rates or adding minimum length of stay).
This can lead to:- Overselling during high‑demand periods
- Losing control of the total hotel inventory
- Last‑minute rate changes
- Extra workload for revenue and front‑office teams
🎯 What We’re Requesting
We’d like Mews to offer automatic rules that trigger when availability reaches certain thresholds.
These rules would look at:
✔️ Room type availability
✔️ Total hotel availability

Rooming list: add age category column for group reservations
Issue Description
In group reservations, the rooming list template does not indicate which rooms include children or infants. All rooms appear identical in the Excel file, even when only some rooms are booked as adults + children.
For large groups (100–400 rooms), this makes it very difficult to know where to enter children data without manual cross-checks.
Request
Please add a pre-filled column in the rooming list showing the age category / classification (e.g. Adult, Child, Infant) per room or per guest.
This would allow hotels to clearly identify rooms with minors and correctly complete the rooming list.18 votes -
Tier-based coloration of the loyalty icon
To enhance the visibility and usability of the loyalty program interface by introducing tier-based color differentiation for the loyalty icon. This change aims to improve user experience for both guests and staff by making member status instantly recognizable. This would help the staff members to quickly identify loyalty tier during check-in or service interactions, members would feel more recognized and valued.

Create a group reservation when multiple rooms are booked
When someone books more than one room online (no matter form which channel) it would be great if mews can merge the reservations together as a group to have a more clear overview that it is several rooms booked.

Start/End Date Functionality in Product Rules
We work extensively with product rules in Mews and have encountered a recurring challenge: the inability to define a start and end date for product rules. This limitation creates significant complications, particularly when we need to add or replace products in existing rules.
The Issue:
When a product is added to an existing product rule, it is automatically applied to all future reservations, including those that were created before the change but have not yet been checked in. This means that even though a reservation was made under the old rule, the updated product is applied at check-in, changing the…

Automatically recalculate all per-person product charges on top of the original nightly rate when adjusting guest count
Description:
Currently, when adjusting the number of guests in a reservation, Mews either:Keeps the total price unchanged (with "Keep old price" ticked), deducting additional product charges (e.g., city tax, breakfast, or other per-person fees) from the accommodation rate—distorting the original pricing structure.
Recalculates the total price (with "Keep old price" unticked), updating the room rate to the current pricing, which can lead to unjustified price increases for guests if rates have changed since booking. The Problem:
There is no automated way to:Preserve the original nightly rate (as agreed upon at booking).
Recalculate and add all per-person product charges…24 votes -
Prevent to rent a dirty room on the same day
We are a self check-in hotel, and we want to prevent last-minute reservations from being assigned to dirty rooms. Currently, the restriction for dirty rooms only applies at the check-in stage.
Because there are not always staff onsite and we often receive last-minute reservations, this creates stress around guests booking rooms that are still marked as dirty. In these situations, guests are unable to check in, and there is no one available to assist them.
Right now, this requires a lot of manual work to mark dirty rooms as Out of Order to prevent them from being rented.
It would…

Automatically Assign Company Profile When Using a Voucher, Regardless of Selected Rate
Currently, Mews only automatically assigns the company profile to a reservation if the guest selects the specific corporate rate linked to the voucher. However, when a guest uses a voucher but chooses a public rate (e.g., “Website Promo”), the company profile is not automatically applied. This results in extra manual work and potential errors in billing and reporting.
Why is this important?Ensures accurate billing and reporting for corporate bookings.
Reduces manual intervention and the risk of human error.
Improves efficiency for both hotel staff and corporate clients.
Suggested Solution:We propose that Mews automatically assigns the company profile to…

double room supplement / Doppelzimmerzuschlag
Double room supplement
It is recommended that the double room supplement is shown separately from the single price on the invoice. This is particularly advantageous for business travellers who are travelling with a companion and require a separate invoice.Doppelzimmerzuschlag
Space feature in mouse over for rooms in timeline
In timeline to have space feature in the hovering/mouse over effect at the room number would be time saving.
We have a lot of different rooms and it would so great to just hover over the room number to see space features. Do we have stairs in that specific room, is it a newly renovated room, room in the garden house etc etc.
We have a lot of new staff that do not know the specifics for all the rooms and planning for arrivals this would be awesome.

Automatic MLOS Restrictions Based on High-Demand Days in Atomize
Proposal: Automatic MLOS Restrictions Based on High-Demand Days in Atomize
I would like to propose a feature where Atomize (RMS by Mews) can automatically apply MLOS (Minimum Length of Stay) restrictions based on manually set predefined criteria, such as high-demand periods.
Currently, MLOS restrictions must be set up manually in the “Restrictions” section (e.g., Min LOS arrival or Min LOS through). This process can be time-consuming and less responsive during periods of rapidly changing demand.
The proposal is:
Enable Atomize to detect high-demand situations (based on metrics like occupancy, pickup, or forecast) and automatically apply relevant MLOS restrictions according…5 votes -

Automatically assign a task when a product is added
Our operations and guest experience would be so much smoother if tasks were automatically assigned to a specified department when a product is added! Product options currently only automatically assign tasks if a product is added during online check-in. This should be an option when a product is added during any step of the guest journey - either by the guest or by the reservations specialist.

Bestellbericht/ Buchhaltungsbericht

mobile amenities - should be able to be managed centrally in Mews
Mobile amenities that are not part of the standard room equipment (e.g., extra beds, baby cots, diaper bins, children's stools, coffee/tea service, bathrobes) should be able to be managed centrally in Mews. Currently, mobile, limited-availability amenities cannot be centrally represented in Mews. Hotels are forced to work with external lists or manual coordination to track availability and usage. This leads to a lack of transparency regarding availability, double bookings, increased coordination efforts between reception and housekeeping, and potential guest dissatisfaction. We would like the ability to create mobile amenities centrally in Mews, manage them with a limited quantity, assign them…

Dissociate permission to charge a credit card and permission to refund on a credit card
It would be very useful to be able to separate (1) the permission to charge a credit card online or via Mews Terminal and (2) the permission to refund (partially or all) a payment via a tokenized credit card for a given user (or a given group of user). For example front office agents should be able to charge a credit card online or via Mews Terminal but should not be permitted to make any refunds (which are to be restricted to a manager).
