2FA authentication on the device rather the sign on
2FA does not authenticate the device rather the sign on, can this be applied as a device authentication rather than sign on as it impedes operations. Feature request to have more flexible ways around using the 2FA a fob to login at the desk for example?

offering discount when booking for x number of nights on a certain rate plan
We offer a 28% discount for stays of 7 nights plus as well as 30% discount when staying 29 nights plus.
at the moment that means you have to set up different rates, which is not always ideal when working with a OTA or TOUR through your channel manager.
is there anyway that this could be build in on Mews' side so that you are able to put in percentage discounts for certain lengths of stays (more than one per rate if possible)9 votes -
Group General Availability Block
When creating a new Availability block for a Group, provide a checkmark toggle that allows for booking out of general availability, rather than creating day by day by space category blocks.
- There are times we provide "rate offers" to groups without any specific room type commitment at all, ie. We'll provide a floating 20% discount on any room types we have available, up until a specific booking cut-off date. There are times we may also offer commission on the rooms that book.Voucher codes do not really work for us in these situations either, as they are not fenced…

Rooming list - possibility to customise/remove columns: remove room numbers
The room number tab column in the rooming list should be customisable as we have many operational issues with the room numbers appearing on it and clients expecting to have those rooms when they check in. We should be able to remove this column if not relevant.

disallow invoicing with incomplete billing details
It would be amazing if an invoice cannot be made if and when the billing details are not completed in the company profile. Now the employee from reservations already grants the 'invoiceable' privilage to a company so that the receptionist know they dont have to take deposit payment at check-in. however at check-out it is still required to complete the billing details, but then the invoice is already closed (as it is possible) and as it is not correctly checked, only with the invoicing check (sometimes days later) it is found that the billing details are missing.

Include Invoice number and Space Number columns in Accounting Report
Include Invoice number and Space Number columns into Accounting Report, or include a standard column (i.e. booking number, invoice number, guest number or similar) in all reports (accounting report, posting journal, reservation report etc) so that the reports can actually be compared and linked between them easily without guessin gwhich guest name belongs to which transaction.

Allow products to be offered by all staff or only management
Some stay products are only used by management or certain reservation agents.
Now all other agents and staff have to go through a long list of products to find the product that they need for the booking. Make all companies by default invoiceable
could you please make it a default setting that every company is invoiceable and we should only tick in case they are not.
also, put a generic invoice due interval in the property main settings so that it defaults to this period and only if you wish to change it from the standard setting should you have to amend it in the company setting.

post payment as deposit
When taking a manual payment such as on arrival, post as a payment against a deposit bill raised in same button, e.g. take payment and raise automatic deposit bill. This will save front desk time when checking in a high volume of guests that pay via pdq terminal on arrival and allow them more interaction time with the guest.

changing dates
When changing the dates of a reservation, in my opinion, there is a step missing where Mews confirms if there is availability for the same type of room and informs the new price (to be accepted or not).

Message
In the Messages (Chat with Guest) it would be very useful to at least display the Room Number (Apartment ID) of the Guest after or before his Name...
We always need to go back to timeline to find this info while chatting with the guest... very annoying and almost impossible with app on smartphone.

Request to increase the Reservation Group Size
Request to increase the Reservation Group Size. The current reservation group size of 500 reservations is not sufficient and is creating operational issues for large-size Hotel Venues.

Splitting reservations should not increase pick up
When splitting a booking, it creates a new booking, and pick ups in any RMS. Please don't consider a booking as a new received booking, as it false pick up and data.

Lowest Rate
One should be able to insert in the configuration the lowest rate to be typed when updating rates (BAR) so that no typing error can be made (for instance 9 instead of 99).

Monthly timeline needs to display ALL bookings
the monthly timeline is already a lot better to deal with long-stay enquiries, however, we have just oversold our property due to the fact that a short stay was not showing up on the monthly time line. we thought we had the full three months available when we didn't.
this is of course not acceptable meaning we are not able to use the monthly view.
may i suggest perhaps a weekly view? or just make the fields smaller (half or quarter their current width).8 votesThis functionality has been released in a limited scope (only bookings longer than 30 days are displayed). We are moving it to the backlog and will get back to it later.

Configure products to be used for multiple categories
When creating products you can only select one category. Which means when creating routing rules. You have to create a product for each ratecode each time. Which will create an unnecessary long product list. Please create a drop down menu where you give the option to select multiple categories.
