    Enable automatic updates of product prices for existing reservations, with an option to offset package-inclusive stay services to maintain the originally agreed daily package rates.

    Background / Problem

    Currently, price changes apply only to future reservations. Existing reservations remain locked at the old product prices, which:

    Causes revenue leakage when product costs rise.

    Requires manual corrections by staff, leading to inefficiency and errors.

    Creates package inconsistency: updating the product price increases the overall daily package rate, which conflicts with guest-confirmed agreements.

  3. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass in der Zeitachse neben den Namen auch direkt die Anzahl der Gäste im Zimmer angezeigt wird. Da wir Aufbettungen buchbar haben und auch Einzelnutzung möglich ist, hätten wir so in der Zeitachse den besseren Überblick.

  4. Please make it possible to edit an invoice more than 7 days after the guest’s check-out.

    Ideally, this option could be restricted to the owner only.

    Errors can happen (e.g., adding products, incorrect prices, etc.), and sometimes corrections are needed later.

    It’s also important in cases where the only person who issues invoices (myself) is unavailable, for example when I am out of the office or on holiday.

  5. Currently if you set a cancellation policy overwrite for a rate group there are several issues:

    • The overwrite policy is not reflected within the email templates
    • The policy only applies if the arrival date falls within this period. There is no way to define an inclusion rule

    Let me explain this with an example. If I set a 14d cxl policy for New Years 31. - 01.01., the confirmation email will still state my standard 3d cxl policy. If a guest stays for two nights 30.12 - 01.01. the policy won't even apply because his arrival date doesn't fall on…

  7. It would be nice if restrictions could be set that don't expire. our hotel can only be booked 180 days in advance. I currently have to renew this restriction every three years. Am I the only one who finds this inconvenient?

  8. It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email [email protected] the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

    It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

  9. Creating a filter in the Mews app for the tasks; now they are in order of time of reporting, but that’s not efficient.

    A good option to help the Operations and Housekeeping teams is have a filter to put the task by roomnumber (accommodationnumber).

    Also, here other Task improves that can be helpful:

    • There is no way to filter by name, by date, by accommodation number whatever).

    • No required field to fill in creating a task accommodation number.

  10. It would be great if the feature for creating reservations directly in the timeline could be made optional and turned on or off in the settings. While this feature has been well received from many of our staff, it is often triggered unintentionally when navigating through the timeline. The possibility to turn it on or off would help our staff by allowing them to customize the handling of the timeline to their preferences.

  11. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be assigned a deadline or to close them. While this covers the basic workflow, it leaves a gap in team communication and task visibility.

    I’d like to suggest introducing an additional task status, for example, “In Progress” to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    Why this would be valuable:

    Improved coordination: Prevents multiple team members from picking up the same task unknowingly.

    Transparency: Makes it clear which tasks are actively being worked on versus those still pending.

    Clear lifecycle: Having statuses such as To Do → In Progress → Done…

  12. It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
    Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?

  13. To better assist Rental Properties (Monthly Bookable Period) - it would be useful to consider creating an AR page that would
    (1) allow clients to review the accounts and bills by month,
    (2) run invoices by batch,
    (3) Bulk Issue Invoices, and
    (4) improve billing automation to allow multiple (up to 2) automations per Monthly bookable service.

  14. There is a huge problem in Mews when it comes to availability blocks and overbooking.

    Right now, if you for example have all existing standard rooms blocked in an availability block, and then there is an overbooking of a standard room, this overbooking will not show on the availability overview. It will just say that the availability for standard rooms is 0, and not -1. So then if you look at the availability overview, it will say for example that we have 0 standard rooms available and 1 superior room, so it looks like we have one room available, but…

  15. Currently, there is a hidden character limit for the Directions field in the configuration page of a space. When exceeding the limit, there is no warning & after saving the field resets to empty. Displaying the character limit will help stay within the boundaries and save time re-entering the directions to the Space.

  16. Would it be possible to configure fixed start and end dates for the "voucher" booking engines?

    To improve the guest experience when promoting a time-limited rate, it would be ideal to define a default start date for the voucher that aligns with the start of the promotion. If the selected date is before this, the default would adjust to the actual current date.

    Likewise, if a user searches for availability beyond the promotion’s end date, rather than showing a generic “No availability” message, it could display “Sorry, this offer has expired” with a redirect link to the main booking engine.

  17. When you have the departure list open and select multiple rooms you sometimes get an error message that one room can not be checked out if it is already checked out or have an open biil. It would be great if the system checked out the remaning rooms that have been selected so you don't have to start over from the beginning if the page is not updated and you have selected multiple rooms for check out

  19. I’d like the Out of Service function to work more like the Out of Order function, with the ability to set a start and stop date/time. The room should remain bookable, but it would be really helpful if the reason and timeframe were displayed more visibly on the timeline screen.

    This would be a game changer for our maintenance team’s ability to communicate with the front desk. Sometimes they’re working in a room that we still want to keep sellable, and having a clear, visible note on the timeline would make it much easier to seamlessly share that information between…

  20. The relevant department is currently not displayed in the task list within the reservation. So if I want to know who the task is written for, I have to open it individually.
    It would be nicer if there was a column for the department in the overview.
