  1. Es wäre sinnvoll und einfacher, wenn man direkt vom Reservierungsbutton aus auch eine Gruppenreservierung / einen Gruppenblock anlegen kann. Der Umweg über den "Verfügbarkeits Blöcke" Bericvht ist sehr umständlich. Auch sollte man den Gruppenblick in der Verfügbarkeitsübersicht sehen können. Zusätzlich sollten Reservierungen die zu einer Gruppen gehören einfach erkennbar sein in der Zeitachse bzw bei den Anreisen, also ohne, dass man in jede Buchung klicken muss und schauen muss, ob diese zu einer Gruppe gehört. Eine Filterung der Anreisen nach Gruppe wäre ebenfalls sinnvoll.

  2. It would be helpful to have the possibility to choose the bill counter for companies or some guests. So you don't have to search for it on the counter list and avoid possible mistakes

  3. Praktisch wäre es, wenn man in der Zeitachse eine Buchung auswählt, dass man per Doppelklick die Buchung direkt öffnet. So wähle ich die Buchung aus und gehe dann rechts unten auf "Bearbeiten". Sollte man nicht bearbeiten wollen sondern nur die Anzeige oder "Drucken" oder "Einchecken", kann man dies ja immer noch per einfachem Klick und dann rechts die gewünschte Aktion auswählen. Erspart ein wenig Zeit.

  4. It is worth considering to automatically move completed "payments requests" and Mews Payment refunds to their relevant Open Bill, where the concerned stay items are already, at least.

    Currently, they all go to the Unpaid Section of the billing screen and the user is then tasked to move the items manually.

  5. Would be very helpful if the dietary restrictions or allergies the guest enters on their profile to also appear on their booking in the timeline and not just under their profile. This will save us a huge amount of time

  8. We are looking to develop booking engines that integrate directly with Mews, allowing us to verify restaurant availability before accepting bookings. This system will enable guests to submit booking inquiries, such as a room night with dinner on a specific date, leaving details, but, without immediate payment.

    Once these inquiries are received, we can confirm restaurant availability and finalize the booking or suggest alternative dates. This improves efficiency by reducing the need for manual input from emails and enhances guest data management.

    Our current setup with Formitable/Zenchef does not sync with Mews, which complicates the booking process. This new engine…

  9. It would speed up the selection of dates in the filters if one could just type then press tab key. Ideally it would auto populate the current year. Also, some date selections do not adjust the end date based on the selected start date so it takes quite a lot of clicks to, say, get the view of your OCC for next week. Same for changing rates for date ranges etc.

    We would like to suggest an enhancement to Mews functionality: the ability to configure multiple sets of Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and assign them to individual products or services. Currently, a single general set of T&Cs is applied across all bookings, which often falls short in catering to the diverse requirements of specific offerings.

  11. Problem: When posting Bookable service items for the entire posting period, users can’t set a custom price and must edit each day individually, which is slow and error prone.

    Request: Allow entering a single unit price or a total amount at posting time for Bookable service items; the system applies or distributes it across all days. Add a one click bulk edit to update the price of all already posted daily items in a period at once

    Enable automatic updates of product prices for existing reservations, with an option to offset package-inclusive stay services to maintain the originally agreed daily package rates.

    Background / Problem

    Currently, price changes apply only to future reservations. Existing reservations remain locked at the old product prices, which:

    Causes revenue leakage when product costs rise.

    Requires manual corrections by staff, leading to inefficiency and errors.

    Creates package inconsistency: updating the product price increases the overall daily package rate, which conflicts with guest-confirmed agreements.

  14. Ich würde mir wünschen, dass in der Zeitachse neben den Namen auch direkt die Anzahl der Gäste im Zimmer angezeigt wird. Da wir Aufbettungen buchbar haben und auch Einzelnutzung möglich ist, hätten wir so in der Zeitachse den besseren Überblick.

  15. Please make it possible to edit an invoice more than 7 days after the guest’s check-out.

    Ideally, this option could be restricted to the owner only.

    Errors can happen (e.g., adding products, incorrect prices, etc.), and sometimes corrections are needed later.

    It’s also important in cases where the only person who issues invoices (myself) is unavailable, for example when I am out of the office or on holiday.

  16. Currently if you set a cancellation policy overwrite for a rate group there are several issues:

    • The overwrite policy is not reflected within the email templates
    • The policy only applies if the arrival date falls within this period. There is no way to define an inclusion rule

    Let me explain this with an example. If I set a 14d cxl policy for New Years 31. - 01.01., the confirmation email will still state my standard 3d cxl policy. If a guest stays for two nights 30.12 - 01.01. the policy won't even apply because his arrival date doesn't fall on…

  18. It would be nice if restrictions could be set that don't expire. our hotel can only be booked 180 days in advance. I currently have to renew this restriction every three years. Am I the only one who finds this inconvenient?

  19. Creating a filter in the Mews app for the tasks; now they are in order of time of reporting, but that’s not efficient.

    A good option to help the Operations and Housekeeping teams is have a filter to put the task by roomnumber (accommodationnumber).

    Also, here other Task improves that can be helpful:

    • There is no way to filter by name, by date, by accommodation number whatever).

    • No required field to fill in creating a task accommodation number.

  20. It would be great if the feature for creating reservations directly in the timeline could be made optional and turned on or off in the settings. While this feature has been well received from many of our staff, it is often triggered unintentionally when navigating through the timeline. The possibility to turn it on or off would help our staff by allowing them to customize the handling of the timeline to their preferences.
