  1. Please add the timeline view to the mobile app. Some properties would like to see the timeline on their phones as well since they utilize them often and throughout the day. This feature request came from Erin at Boardwalk Homes Executive Guest Houses & Suites.

  2. Gender / Nationality / Date of birth by booking

    Could we make madatory for a guest who is booking to fill his Gender / Nationality / Date of birth as well ? Right now he only has to fill his last name, email and phone number.

    We have an all-female-dorm and some men keep booking it for some reasons. Gender with "Woman / Man / Non binary (or diverse?) at the moment of booking could really help us. As it is mandatory for us to have the nationality of the guest as well as his birth date, those could be…

  3. We need the OPTION to pre-allocate rooms in an availability block. By the time we receive some rooming lists and pick-up the beds, other guests have already extended in a room and then ruined exclusivity in a section/floor; or if you sell beds in a hostel, the extensions have led to the availability block guests being split up over multiple different rooms.

  5. It should be possible to change the room category of a reservation from a block without changing the block. It is critical that for example the Front Desk are able to change room type(by changing the room number), or upgrade easily from the reservation without changing the availability block. This used to be possible, so please bring it back.

  7. Restrict some users from being able to delete products within the reservation or billing. Either an approval code from a manager could be entered to allow them to delete it, or the manager themselves who has the permission deletes the product themselves

  9. I have been attempting to limit the access front of office employees have to financial data or payment information which is both sensitive to the business and confidential. MEWS have informed me there is no way in preventing any employee who has access to changing housekeeping status to also view the financials of the business.

    Please could I have some help or if anyone else is finding this as an issue. While creating different roles and users I tested this ability to view all financial information. Therefore, any user with housekeeping privilages can view any information within ‘Finance’ on the…

  11. This was already posted before and it got 25 votes. The moderator answered that there is already an 'in person' option but this is not enough as there are more actions that happen 'in person'. As a hotel you want to distinguish between walk-ins and extensions from reservations that both happen in person.

  12. MEWS automatically allocate guests to a room. However, when you want to extend a guest's stay and another guest is allocated to that room, you first have to move the other guest to be able to extend the stay of the other guest. It would be helpful that if you want to extend a guest's stay, it automatically moves the other guest to another available room.

  14. It would be nice to be able to promote specific products to specific rate groups segments or even more direct to specific rates and even better to be able to enable function for specific periods only.
    Example:
    - Offering Full day SPA access to OTA guest as an promotion in low season

  15. Hi,

    I have set a service for guests to book Day by the Pool .

    I want a cap of 6 to book sunbeds, but this is not possible.

    At the moment the functionality to cap the maximum number is capping the number of adults but you cannot cap the number of bed (sunbeds).

    So far it not possible to have a way to cap inventory per booking.

  16. In order to check if restrictions are still valid / necessary, the occupancy (overall and per room type) should be displayed in the restrictions calendar (as in rate management). This is very important to check if MLOS and close restrictions are still valid.

  18. Option to directly add the CC in the process of making a new reservation. Otherwise you need to go to the profile and add it there. It cost extra steps / clicks and also the change to forget to add the CC.

    It shout also be linked to the rate you choose -> non refundable, always ask for a CC.

  19. When creating a task, the task looks ordered and systematic with spaces between the different points and can even be numbered. But when printing the list, all spaces and numbering is gone and its all just one long sentence. Would be very helpful to have the printed list to look like the actual task description.

  20. When there is a reservation that cannot be allocated and we fix the issue and leave the space available for it, it would be helpful to have an "allocation button" to just allow Mews to try once again to allocate those reservations in the red overbooked area, instead of allocating them manually one by one, and without having to use the Optimize Space Allocation button in the timeline (which could move other reservations that are not locked in place).
