Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to billing. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  2. There would be great to show current capacity in calendar with restrictions.. At the moment I have to open another window to see my capacity to manage restrictions.

  4. Some products are being used in stay but are also used in service.
    For example we have rental bikes that are booked in advance, but are also rented out by guests from outside the hotel. They don't have a booking with us, we book this on a paymaster but have to recreate the products we already have with the stay products. It would be great if we van connect or copy them in some way. Or make them available in the billing screen aswell.

  5. The button is to attempting and it happends a lot that staff uses this button to early. No corrections can't be made on the same bill anymore. Please make it possible to chose if you want to use this button or not.

  6. When double clicking on the reservation number, it also selects some text next to the reservation number.
    In the daily use, you often have to copy the reservation number, so it's much easier and faster if you can do it with a double click.

  7. We have set up different rate types for 1/2 use and 3/4 use per room. The the 3/4 use option is alway first shown, when making a reservation in commander. We would prefer 1/2 use first shown.

  8. Having an additional file where a bill number, the total price, the base price and the vat price appears in the same line per each reservation.

  13. Report which allows us to see how many rooms of each category has been cleaned during the month. This feature is interesting for the hotel service in charge of room managing in order to check the number of rooms cleaned and charged at the end of the month. Each room category have different rates.

  19. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.

    Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

  20. When adding a product to a bill, like a parking fee, it would be good to be able to add a note with the fee to the bill so that the note is also shown on the final invoice. If we for example have group/meeting reservations where everything is going on the same bill, for the customer it is occasionally important to know whose parking fees are actually on the final invoice.
