We work with a modern PMS but have to search which payment is for which profroma invoice by asking around. There is just no other possibility...

We have these cases multiple times a day and that this is not possible affects daily operations and guest satisfaction.

Very important feature we would need in our daily operations.
This is a constant need and question from our guest, which we cannot fullfill.
There is a lot of revenue lost due to the fact that this is not possible.
Even a 20 year old PMS had this feature.Lenia Kokkinos supported this idea ·

We actually would need this asap.
We are tracking several complaints about this by guests, seeming ignorant to their title. Marriage status is not that important as title actually is.
Putting it in the first or last name field doesn't help anyone either cause reservations cannot be found that way.Lenia Kokkinos supported this idea ·

With 533 Rooms, it takes hours to set rooms into OOO Individually and is more than time consuming in daily business, when we are supposed to focus on the guests experience.
This feature is more than critical for our business, specially when there is a critical technical issue etc.Lenia Kokkinos supported this idea ·

Hi everyone, we know this idea was logged a long time ago and we thank you for the feedback and ideas about how to improve the system. We do keep an eye on these requests and how they're progressing and we recognise we have room to improve in terms of providing feedback.
This idea has become a large group of different requests, so I want to clarify the intention and progress related to this. Please do reply and comment as necessary.
We have previously made progress towards a big part of the original intent of this idea by introducing a 'Check in form' configuration in Mews Operations. You can find more details on this in our help guides here. We are not yet marking this as complete until we deliver some further enhancements to which guests the data can be configured for. We plan to share more on this…

We’ve noticed an operational challenge when trying to extend the check-out time or stay of a guest who is already checked in. Currently, Mews requires the room to be unlocked and automatically moves the active reservation to a different space, which creates operational problems since the guest is physically already in the room. This is especially challenging for Medium to large size Hotels.
Our expectated behaviour is:
The in-house reservation should remain in its current room.
The following reservation (new guest) should be automatically moved to another available space or flagged as overbooking if none are available.
Having to manually move upcoming reservations adds unnecessary workload and increases and has way more errors than the reservation I am not currently working on. It would be more intuitive and operationally efficient if Mews prioritized keeping in-house guests in their assigned rooms during extensions.
