    Hello, it's Martin here, from Mews.


    Today, we are releasing service deletion for services with past reservations.


    Bookable service can be deleted when there are no future or ongoing reservations attached to it. Also, there must be no automated exports, no service promotions and no integrations linked to the service.


    The functionality is only available to users with permission to create and manage services.


    Data from deleted services will disappear from almost all areas of the system, so use the functionality wisely :-) The data will only be visible in the manager report. Old reservations from a deleted service can also be accessed through the dashboard on the customer profile.

    We have a number of properties in which we would like to delete a secondary bookable service which we are not longer using.

    To be able to configure automatic responses based on property would be very helpful.

    24 Hour properties vs non 24 Hour properties would require different messages.

    Showing the average response time would also help set the expectation that it's not a live chat feature.

    We reopened this request for further upvotes. It is fairly clear what is being requested and it will need more investigation from Mews. In the mean time we would ask you to continue to up vote if this is still a required connectivity feature request.

    Currently the online check-in form collects First name, Last name, email & address.

    Our business needs to collect Salutation/Title, Gender, Date of Birth, Phone number, nationality for each person.

    The 'Online check-in' process should save the customer time, however having to provide the rest of their details on arrival doesn't save them any time.

    It would be good to be able to define by property what fields are presented to the guests in the check-in.

    Hello Mewsers,

    We are very happy to inform you that we provide the following reservation states:

    Pending (Inquiry) – this state shows reservations as “inquired” in the system but it does remove any rooms from your inventory.

    Optional – when reservations are created in the optional state they are set and tentative in the system and can be automatically released. Optional reservations will remove rooms from your inventory.

    If you would like to know more about the states mentioned above, please contact our customer care team.

    We would like to know more about how you envision working with “probability %” and waiting lists. If you have anymore use cases or scenarios for the waiting list, please feel free to share them with us.

    Thank you for your feedback and suggestion.

    All required fields in the PMS are based on legal requirements. It is unlikely that we will allow the modification of required fields, or the addition of mandatory fields that do no meet legal standards in each region in the near future.

    Currently Mews excludes this when calculating available beds which makes sense as they are not available for sale.

    If a property fills 50% and has 50% Out of orders then Mews reports shows 100% full which is then reported internally which is not accurate.

    It's requested to add the option to Include Out of Orders as part of Total Available Count.

    Enable cross enterprise / multi property administration. When using Mews across multiple properties it is difficult to maintain consistency when needing to manage service features in each property.
