  1. With regards to our highest room category, which is our ******, we have a price increase for additional guests from CHF 50 to CHF 70,-/each and for children from CHF 30,- to CHF 35,-/each as of 1st January 2023!

  2. Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

  3. We are a charity who provide accommodation for people at a greatly subsidised cost. We would like the online check out to prompt/ask guests if they would like to make a donation during the online check out process and to ask if they are Gift Aid eligible as part of that. It is similar to retailers who ask you to donate when paying online to their chosen charities and would make a huge difference to us.

  4. When customer is using PMS and POS, a guest profile needs to be created in Mews when guests are ordering via Mews POS.

  5. So for us it would be quite useful to add an option for guests to choose if they want to receive an invoice. Also an extra box if they wish to have company details in there would be great. This way we can send invoices to guests when they want it and also how they want it.

  7. It would be good if the guest can get the exact information on their payment status in the confirmation email.

    It needs a code (Placeholder in template) so that the payment at the reservation will show as the rest of commands open to pay in the confirmation mail.

    Its critical data that the client needs specially for transparency

  8. When adding multiple reservations to one guest profile, it would be beneficial to copy paste all the tasks to the other reservations. Therefore, it would be beneficial to add more reservations to one task or an option to copy and paste a task.

  9. Make cashlist the standard for every guest without (valid) credit card, instead of having to choose this manually to prevent guests from running away without paying.

  10. Some OTAs allow the customer to change Onsite payment to Online Prepaid reservation up until the check in.
    Currently the routing rules do not trigger when the payment option updates.

    We would appreciate if the routing rules trigger when the payment updates into "Online Prepaid" so that we do not accidentally charge the guest twice.

  11. We would love the ability to set room charge/credit limits on customer accounts.

    For example, if we would like a guest's room charge account to not exceed $300, it would be great if we could set a limit in MEWS so room charge function is blocked once guest hits $300. From an operations perspective, this would help limit excessive room charge bills. From a sales perspective, we often release promotions that include a set level of 'credit' for the guest to use inhouse on F&B at the property.

  12. Hello everyone,

    we wanted to ask you if it is possible to create new privilage where as if we take pre-authorization for extrases for "x" sum, the receptionist would not be able to create extrases in value bigger then the "x". Therefore they wouldnt be able to add anything to guest unless it is already paid for.

  13. The Before Start email is sent to all the bookings, so it does not take in consideration which Confirmation Email's are Enabled in Visit Option.

    Please considere to send the Before Start email only the Confirmation Email that is ENABLED and ignore the ones disabled.
    This will help to send the information to the right customers instead of sending the invitation to all customers and create confusion.

  14. The green sign shows up when all the guest completed the online check in. Thats rarly the case often we need just the date of birth of the second person and then the guest gets asked the normal registration form because nobody looked up the pre filled in regestrion card.

  16. It would be great to be able to customize the requirements for a Kiosk Check. This would allow us to collect information that is not part of any legal environment based on our location.

    Right now we ask guests to utilize the kiosk but when it cannot collect all the information we need for a check in it sits unused.

  19. Apple Pay stores information such as address, email, phone number on the phone of the guest. Apple Pay also allows sharing this information with 3rd party application.

    It would be great if Mews can pull this information to get the information from the guest and further automate the journey for the guest.

  20. it is sometimes important to know that a guest is a smoker to ensure they are allocated a room where this is allowed. nowadays most establishments are non-smoking and smokers are the exception rather than the norm.
