  1. It would be good to have a template for each rate. It was already mentioned but having more freedom with email templates in terms of adding more template options by hotels based on their own needs, as selection now is very limited.

    Mews seems to be a trying something new and making things simpler for guests and staff, but there are certainly some fields to be improved.

  2. When a TA uses a generic email address to make a reservation, the new Booker functionality workflow will add the card to the booker (TA), not the actual guest, ending up with an endless list of cards attached to the TA profile.

  3. We have several guests who request to have the same (or similar) unit as they stayed in before. currently when looking at the guest profile, it is impossible to see what unit number they stayed in unless you open each reservation card.

    Is there a way so that this displays on the dashboard and perhaps rather than using the place cards use a one line list which displays all information in a clearer view similar to the orders view (i.e. res number / cancelled or stayed / arrival and departure date / unit type / unit number / rate code…

  4. If certain notes are attached to a company profile (e.g. No alcohol on account), these are (now) not visible on the guest profile of the guests who are linked to the company.

    This would be convenient :)

  5. now it takes a long time to link companies to a master. as you always have to scroll (remembering where you were), click in, add master. and wait for 4, 5 sec and then go back to companies, scroll again, click in ...

    instead of - better - be in the master and just add the companies

  6. While completing customer profiles, one of the most important pieces of data includes payment card details. For this reason, an additional field for these card details could be very beneficial to streamline that data collection process. Manage your profiles with the most important information first.

  7. Mews currently does not allow restricting minors to be booked into selected room/space types. For example allowing a child to be booked to shared dormitories and especially as the sole traveler is in a breach of regulations in number of countries.

    Feature to add - option to select per space type to allow minors to be booked in and also whether only as secondary occupant to an adult or as sole occupant.

  10. Maybe add a feature of whenever you click on a guest profile a pop up trace of any important information can be seen first hand ie (Special occasion, take payment of VC, route payment) a

  11. Now, the automatic reminder and cancellation e-mails are send to the guest and not the booker. Even if the guest has no e-mail, the booker (or anybody else) does not receive an automatic reminder and cancellation. As we have a agreement with the booker and not with the guest, it should be the booker who must receive the automatic reminder and cancellations. Now, bookings are being canceled automatically (when not reconfirmed before the deadline), without notifying the booker, who did originally receive the confirmation. This is a major flaw of MEWS. The booker should receive automatic reminders and cancellations!

  13. At the moment, in the email which is send to the properties there is missing the travel agency and the date of the reservations. Those two extra information would be great to have as it allows to have all the information at the first sight without going into the reservation. E.g. when it is a failed settlement at the same day of the arrival, we would ignore this email, as the guest will then pay later upon check-in.

  15. Adapt the Co-Operator Check Out function so that it looks like the Check In Function ? FO teams working with Co-Operator need a dashboard view of Check outs so they can just choose a reservation to C/O without needing the guest name and room number.

  16. Currently when there is a task i.e. saying a payment request was missed, one has to copy paste the name of the guest to search for the actual payment request. A direct link would be better

  17. It would be neat if the guests were able to check in on the kiosk and get their pin code there.
    Or have the pin code display directly in Mews.

  18. To be able to choose which fields are visible in the reservation confirmation. It would be great to uncheck some of the values, such as rate name or product for certain costumers, but currently you can only delete the entire row (reservation detail) which is not an option.

  19. This solution would allow the hotels to create "categories" of products and offer multiple versions of the same product.

    Example: the product (category) will be "Ski pass" for example, and the you can choose from a list of different passes (1-day, 2-day, child, adult...)

    Another example: a product of Excursions and a list to choose the different excursions options they have.

  20. When a specific rate is booked, automatically populate the company to the reservation. E.G. If you book the rate "MEWS" the system will add "MEWS" as a company to the reservation
