  1. Currently, as soon as you make a modification, to any mail template, you erase the default settings for the template - which is all fine and well if you want continue customising your template and understand how to do so.

    However from time to other you would like to go back to the original settings. Would it be an idea that the default button next to the template name, could be active, such that when you engage it, the template settings would revert to default ?

  2. Could we also have dining options in rates setup, so that guests (and staff within comander) can choose from options like with / without breakfast / full board / half board to select rates? (of course with nice labels attached 😉 )

    For us, or in most city settings I believe, the major rate differentiations are non-ref vs. free cancellation and with vs. without breakfast ? Right?

  3. New Cancellation Tags Are confusing because they adjust dynamically based on the rate rules. What would be more useful is to be able to create a set of key tags that we can generate as the business to display on the room cards or rates when you have the selection of spaces. This would allow customers to make quicker choices and saving calling to understand what the room includes. Example tags for the room could be 'Hot Tub', or 'Has Lake View' or 'Includes Complimentary Minibar' or if these tags are applied at rate level then 'Non Refundable' or '50%…

  6. Let me give you an example to explain my problem : Let's assume we are only open on friday night and saturday night. If a client wants to book a 2 nights journey from friday to sunday, the first picture of the booking engine calendar seen by the client shows the day of friday and saturday in black colours but the day of sunday is greyed out.   7. When you check-in online you have to fill out your credit card details.
    In The Netherladns not a lot of people have a credit card, therefore a lot of people can not use this option.
    Is there a possibility to change this? Maybe by paying a deposit or just skip the credit card details?

DOEL van reservering is een verplicht veld met 3 prefixes (student, recreatie, zakelijk) - voor ons zorghotel niet relevant en het is niet aanpasbaar. aangezien het ook een verplicht veld is in de online kiosk hebben we daarom alle mails uitgezet. Het zou goed zijn als je daar aanpassingen in **** doen zodat het past bij het hotel.

    Many hotels have a lower rate in FOH to make currency exchanges, but this affects the rate shown on the IBE

  11. Currently we are able to set up a booking engine for each bookable service, and even select which rooms/rates we want to display per engine. Works great!

    However, the only branding/names displayed in the booking engine are the company name, and the room type name.

    If you have double rooms in two different bookable services, under the same company. It get's a little bit confusing for the guest as to which actual place it is that they are booking.

    A custom name would be great, or an (optional) subheader with the bookable service name would also suffice.

  12. There are currently two ways to open the booking engine and I would like to see them combined.

    1. Standalone: to open the booking engine with a URL on a new tab/page of the browser. It also allows deeplinks to preselect language, currency, dates, persons, category etc.
    2. Widget: to open the booking engine in a, iframe popup overlay by creating a button with the class 'distributor-open' and without link.

    I would like to use a combination of them, so open the widget with a deeplink.

    It should be as easy as adding the deeplink to a button with the class 'distributor-open'.…

  14. The link of the online check-in in the mail before arrival is not vailid any more after the guest is checked-in. Sometimes the Guest needs more time to fill on the information. Can you please leave the link in the mail active also after the check in. This is also in compliance with legislation, as the information in Austria has to be provided within 24/48 hrs after check-in date.

  16. If mews could sell USB camera modules that could be placed next to kiosks/computers for easier Document "Scanning".
    If all documents are the same brightness, distance from the lens it could speed up the scanning procedure.

  18. a more complete overview for the guest.
    With comming and previous bookings.
    Automatically see all invoices.
    Change invoice details (adress, company name etc.).
    Change dates / bookings

    So that the guests can do everything without the need to contact us.

For emails sent from an hourly service booking, it would be useful if the booked hours could be included in the booking details (e.g. the customer can see that they have booked a room from 9am 30/07/23 - 4pm 30/07/23). Currently only the date is shown. We are using the hourly service for our meeting room.
