  2. Disable automatic online check-out email when the customer has consecutive reservations or changes rooms. Detecting if the customer with the same email continues their reservation the next day should not send the online check-out email so that it is not duplicated.

  3. Currently, it is not possible to send any notes or remarks with the quotations. The quotation is sent with one template (yes, it can be customized but this will affect all quotationss sent, and it should be addressed individuall). It would be useful if we could add a comment or a note each time we send a quotation so the guest can get more details.

    Practical example: When we are overbook, we like to send a new quotation instread of cancelling the roo. We woulc make an offer (optional reservation) to the guest with another room available. However, the guest…

  4. The {bill} placeholder is already available to add in the subject of the Bill sent email template, however this placeholder is not available for the body of the email. Adding the {bill} placeholder to the body of the email template, would give additional options to this email.

  6. Add an address field in the booking engine so we can understand where our guests are coming from. Also helps with marketing efforts. If the PMS can then take this data and create a report showing states/countries that had the most amount of guests, that would be amazing.

  7. When changing colors of placeholders, it still appears blue on gmail accounts. Would be great to allow the change of color to apply across all apps to make it more consistent with overall branding for each property

  8. Many properties operate with a multitude of connections to distribution partners:-
    - Direct connectivity to Booking & Expedia (and I expect more in the future)
    - A channel Manager ex. SiteMinder to connect to all the others
    - A GDS / BE representing company like SynXis on behalf of Relais & Châteaux (RC) or Small Luxury Hotels (SLH)

    It should be possible when setting up Channel Managers (all of the above) or Distribution partners if this is a better terminology to indicate in the connection if a confirmation should be sent.

  9. It would be very useful to have a function in Mews to duplicate tasks. When you would open a task and change its day, it would automatically create a new task instead of updating the existing one. Less clicks, more happy users.

  10. We would like to submit a few modifications regarding the Mews Booking Engine, which is used by a variety of hotels with different concepts.

    Choice of pictogram: We would like each user to have the option to select a pictogram based on the type of accommodation they manage, for example, a "house" pictogram instead of "bunk bed."

    Clarification on pricing: Below the price, it currently states "per room/per night." We request that this be changed to "per accommodation," and this should also apply in all languages version. Or give the possibility to choose if we want it per room or…

  11. The rates on registration card shouldn't appear for the bookings made through travel agency or any other third-party bookings. When we choose to show the rates on registration card and print all the card from reservation overview the rates appear for the all category of booking. Please assist with the same.

  12. It would be great if relevant information for specific times can be shown as an alert message in the booking engine.
    Guest searches for a room during a certain periond and a message is getting shown, which is triggered by an either defined date range for the time of booking or time of stay.
    This would be helpful for:
    -restaurant closures during the time the guest does stay
    -renovations going on in the hotel
    -certain hotels services are not available during the staying period
    -could also be used for advertising special events in the hotel

  13. Since the new guest portal release, once a guest has checked in they are no longer able to edit their personal details including phone number or credit card.
    I'm not sure why this feature was removed? If a guest adds their info at the time of booking, it would be helpful if they can amend their own data if things were to change closer to their arrival time.

  14. When people are entering from e.g. Google Hotel Ads the landing page is always the distributor link (technically it is not possible to link the ads to the widget integrated booking engine)

    Problem then is that users can not go to the homepage of the hotel directly.

    It is a learned & normal website usability that logos are clickable and lead to the homepage if a website.

    For me it is a must have.

  16. The idea is that when a guest books one of our properties, he will be asked if he wants to book another as well.
    E.g. A guest books a stay in Vienna. After the booking was completed he gets ask if he wants to book a stay in Munich as well and when clicking on it he gets directly to the booking engine of the other property.

  17. We want to restrain the possibility of the selection language in the Mews booking engine. For example, we only want that the client can utilize the English and Español version.
    Can you develop a function (check box in a list for example) which permit that ?

  18. Booking gaps should be automatically overridden by the MLOS. For example, if the MLOS is 5 but there is a gap of 3 or 1 night, it should be automatically bookable. This is especially important for smaller properties with individual room categories.

  19. As the title says, right now you have the option for Customer & Booker, Booker, or None. we would like to see Customer as an option. sometimes we need to confirmations to just go to the customers, and not spam our bookers with the confirmation and cancellation emails.

  20. We manage several holiday rental units and the different space categories have different addresses in two different cities.
    Currently the property address is placed in the general settings tab. The address placed in the general settings tab is the one that appears in the booking confirmation message for reservations at Mews booking engine in at tahe " How to get there" field.
    We've tried to leave the ‘City’ field in the general settings tab blank, but it's not possible because it's a mandatory field.
