  8. Imagine this situation:
    Guests are early for CI and waiting for their room to be ready. This room could then be marked as "notify me about status change".
    When housekeeping changes the room status to "inspected" a notification is sent to the front office.
    Then they can call the guests and they can check in as early as possible.

  9. In an Enterprise environment with multiple properties, the BE should offer an alternative property if the selected property is not available. Thus offering the possibility to cross-sell rather than lose the booking.

  10. When you are in the process of booking a room you should be able to make a table reservation in the same process. The table reservation should be linked to an inventory.

  11. I design websites for hotel and am working on the first site where Mews needs to be integrated. It surprised me to see that it is not possible to link to a specific room or package in the booking engine.

    Every hotel website I worked with wants a page on their where they describe and promote their room types and packages. It makes perfectly sense to add a [Book now] button to that description, which raises the expectation that you can directly book that room type or package with a click on that button.

    Unfortunately this is not possible with…

  12. When the visitor of our booking street clicks on a date on which we have no availability, he or she will receive the advice to select another date or to contact our reception (by e-mail or by telephone). Currently it is impossible to change this text.

    We notice that our reception is now receiving many calls regarding our availability. In most cases, the caller reacts with disappointment, because providing these contact details incorrectly suggests that a room is still available.

    The option to change this text would be greatly appreciated.

    we are currently changing the way how we will show no avaliability and we will put this change into it as well, so we are minimizing the impact on the property.

  13. A guest booking with booking.com. The guest nationality is not transferred to the guests profile in Mews when using Mews's own booking.com integration. Booking.com clearly states the nationality of the guest with a flag and the country of origin's name.

  14. Make cashlist the standard for every guest without (valid) credit card, instead of having to choose this manually to prevent guests from running away without paying.

  15. When guests check-in, it would be great if they could confirm their vaccination status, therefore adding the "Health Compliant" badge to their profile.

  16. It would make it easier to keep the checked in reservations at the bottom of the operator screen and allow us to select them and add a guest who checks in later than the rest so that they can complete the check in too. Now there is no option to collect their information without undoing the check in, and that is not viable as we then could loose previous guests' info and signatures.

  18. The information showed in navigator is not enough. Especially for guests with multiple reservations/cancellations. I am missing at least: Confirmation number, rate type, room type, price, extra products.

  19. When a member wishes to extended their stay, would be nice if their was "Extended" options in origin of booking so we can differentiate if a guest booked through an OTA then extended or booked through an email then extended because presently we have to mark them as "walk ins" and this dilutes our actually "walk in" numbers.

  20. Currently, with a self check-in through Operator, the only time the guest is informed about his/her room number is at the final step of the check in.
    We would like to set up an "After check-in" which the guest can look at if he/she doens´t remember the room number and no reception is there. In order to do so, we would need a placeholder for the room number! Would be great, thanks!
