Create different types of confirmations for different types of rates. For example for the holidays we want our guests to receive the right confirmation with all their reservation contains.

Bed Configuration Option in Booking Engine
We have a large amount of room types that have King beds capable of being converted into Twin configuration. Rather than choosing a set amount of rooms to sell as "Twin" we would prefer to make it an OPTION for the guest to choose their bed configuration. That way the full quantity of splittable beds is available to sell on our booking engine. Additionally, from an operational perspective we know 100% which bed configuration guests require. An optional booking to be confirmed only with a credit card
At the moment when an optional reservation is made for a guest manually, the guest will receive an email from MEWS and they can just click on Confirm or Cancel.
When they Click on Confirm the optional reservation is immediately confirmed in MEWS but no credit card details are requested to guarantee the reservation.
We want the system to only give the guest the possibility to Confirm the reservation once they have inserted their credit card details first.

Online check in - mandatory to finish all guests data to finish
Online CI confirmation.
When the guest wants checked in online and he booked the room for two, online CI would not be completed in Mews without filling information for both guest. Apple Wallet for room keys
Apple is allowing guest room keys to be stored within the Apple Wallet app as soon as next month. Additionally, data shows that consumers are growing weary of downloading apps such as a hotel app to get a key. The direction the consumer wishes to go is where they can receive a hotel room key via SMS, WhatsApp or Messenger and then store in their chosen wallet provider. What's Mews plan?

Sign in / Booking engine Image
The Sign in image set under "Property" (seen in the guest portal) is also the image shown as background in the Booking Engine.
We want the option to set different Pictures.Sign In image looks best in 640x800 while Booking engine background looks best in fullscreen (1080x1920).

Multiproperty vouchers
We are currently using Mews on Enterprise level. Thou multiproperty Mews gives us great analitics, unfortunately is a bit weaker on the day-to-day use. It would be great if we could create one promo voucher that would work for all the properties in the multiproperty booking engine. Currently this option is not available and vouchers need to be created separately for each property.

Link Guest Social Media
It would be great to be able to link the guest's social media to their profile, this way once a reservations comes through we can identify a repeat guest with a large following.

Covid Vaccination confirmation included in Online Check-in
When guests check-in, it would be great if they could confirm their vaccination status, therefore adding the "Health Compliant" badge to their profile.

recognize returning guest if he books by different OTA
It would be very helpful if the system recognize a returning guest also by s passport number , date of birth and name , if he often books with different travel agencies.

MEWS function to add pet indicator
We were discussing the reservations bringing a pet and wanted to know if there is a way to add a pet indicator to the reservation screen when we add the pet free as a product? Just like if the guest is bringing children, there's a picture of a baby with the number of kids, or if its an adult with the person indicator?
We were thinking this could potentially integrate with KnowCross and be a feature for the housekeeping and maintenance team.

Flexibility to add additional fields to Booking Engine
Properties are looking for more personalized experience. It's important to collect information such as allergies, personal preferences, arrival time, etc.
It would be great if there was a flexibility to add additional fields in the booking engine (arrival, allergies, preferences, occasion for the stay) and give properties flexibility to collect this important data from their guests at the time of booking.

Ability to check directly via the reservation if a mail has already been sent
It would be easier if we could directly see via the reservation if emails of confirmation, facture sent, ... has been already sent and even if the delivery has failed.

Possibility to turn off automated e-mails for individual guests
We are expiring very unsatisfied guests who stays with us every week and is 'getting spammed with e-mails' both before and after each of their stay. We need to option to turn the automated e-mails off in the guest profile.
These e-mails should still be sent to all new guests whereas returning guests seem to get VERY annoyed by receiving the same e-mails weekly in connection with their stays.
Right now our only option is to completely remove their e-mail address from Mews which creates tons of issues with multiple guest profiles for the same guest, issues with sending confirmations…

Pop up returning guest
When you make a new reservation with a returning guest profile there comes a pop-up with important details about the guest.
Just a note screan that we can fill in, about room numbers they prefer, if they have a dog, that they always want an extra pillow etc.

confirmation/quotation email sent listed in action log
Please include in the action log, if an email has been sent to the guest via Mews ie. confirmation, quotation, cancellation etc.
Now that we have to manually send confirmation emails, it would be greatly beneficial to be able to check if this has been done.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We have recently released a feature that allows you to view the mail queue for the individual guests from the Guest profile in addition to the usual mail queue.
You can access the mail queue on the guest level by selecting the guest dashboard and clicking on the mail queue icon on the top right hand side.
Please note that mail queue is currently visible to admin level users. We recommend that you consult your manager in order to access this functionality.

More options to display availability
It would be nice if you can either,
- Display "Only few rooms left" when inventory is low rather than the exact numbers all the time
