Option: Do not send charge mail to the client
Mews sends automatically a charge mail to the mail address in the customer profile (for a physical card). But the card holder may be different e.g. a travel agency) and the customer is not supposed to knox the net price. Therefor it would be helpful to have a tick box on the charge screen: "Do not send charge mail to the client".

As a hotelier, I want to use the Distributor as a booking engine for tables in the hotel restaurant. I want to allow the guest to book a table for a specific day and time.

Segment rules
Would love a function where I can setup rules to change the segments on a reservation, rules that are defined by ratecode/rategroup/arrivalday of the week/number of guests staying.

Create Bookings on Kiosk (Walk-ins)
Currently, the Mews Kiosk requires that you have a reservation to be able to check-in. It would be great if we had the ability to allow the guest to actually process a walk-in guest saving the front desk time. This would require preauthorization for US clients or an option to pay in full at time of walk-in.

Pronouns in Dutch are not polite
When a guest receives one of the automatic messages like the online check-in (which are not possible to change), than MEWS uses the familiar way "je" instead of the polite way "u" and "uw". So this messages would need to be changed as guests experience this as a rude way of addressing them.

WHY TO WE NEED TO MANUALLY ADD THE GUEST IN THEIR RESERVATION?
IF THE GUEST MAKES AN ONLINE OR AN WALK IN RESERVATION FOR MORE THAN 1 ROOM WE NEED TO GROUP IT MANUALLY INTO EXISTING CUSTOMER??
IF THE GUEST HAS MADE TWO RESERVATION FOR THE SAME DAY THE SYSTEM SHOULD ADD THE GUEST BY IT SELF.

Staff is aware whether the chat message got resolved
Is it possible to have some kind of "no reply needed" button for the messages box (guest chat). Sometimes there are cases that the guest has sent the message and then called for us so there is no need to reply for the message anymore. It would be great to have the button to mark for the other employees that this case has been closed.
If I log in to the MEWS systems I immediately see that there are new messages arrived. Somehow the messages sometimes seems to be unread even tough someone else (my colleague) has already replied with…

Automatic replies for direct guest messaging
We would like to reply with automatic messages to direct guest messages, to make sure our guests are not waiting for an answer too long. This would come in handy during the weekends, when no one is in the office.
Another option would be to have the option to shut down the chat function completely or to be notified by an email.

Option to change background image in Distributor (Multi Property )
We have 2 beach resorts on the same beach and we combine them into one distributor booking engine.
The background image on the first page (select date) is of some random city. It looks ridiculous and is definitely killing conversion.
I have been told we cannot change this.
Surely a plain white background would be preferable to this generic cityscape which will suit probably one in 20 propertys or less.
Really annoyed about this as when we started using this combined booking engine for 2 property's this picture was not there its just been added.

When using voucher code, only display voucher rate attached to it.
The use case: sometimes the rate attached to the voucher code can be actually more expensive than the standard rate (corporate rate) and customer should not see the cheaper ones.100 votes
