  1. If a guest comes often and always make the same reservation, give them the option to copy existing reservations. It makes sense to make this from the guest portal, because all of the informations are already there. They just need to switch the dates.

  2. Would be good to have possibility to send more personalised mails. For example, we organise a lot of pop up events (BBQ in summer, concerts, ...). People need to subscribe in advance.

    Would be great to be able to send these kind of mails from MEWS.
    What's differente compared to actual MEWS mail templates?
    - content is different every month
    - we should be able to choose ourselves when we do want to send this mail and when not (for example if we organise a BBQ next sunday, it should not be send to any other guests than those staying…

  3. When a reservation goes through Siteminder the booker information is not added in Mews. We have alot of reservations made by a booker for a guest, when the guest arrives we only have their name and the booked details are gone so if the booker wants to pay we have to add this information manually after finding it in siteminder. its all there we just need the information to be added into Mews as well.

  4. There should be the possibility that when over a period one rate is ending and another begins, a rate should still be displayed if one wants to book over that period.

    For example:

    Rate 1 is bookable until the 20th of December.
    Rate 2 is bookable from the 21st of December.

    Currently, if a guest wants to book from the 20th to the 21st of December, no availability and rate is displayed.

  6. Could we also have dining options in rates setup, so that guests (and staff within comander) can choose from options like with / without breakfast / full board / half board to select rates? (of course with nice labels attached 😉 )

    For us, or in most city settings I believe, the major rate differentiations are non-ref vs. free cancellation and with vs. without breakfast ? Right?

  7. Currently we have a few services, such as bike rental, breakfast, and parking that can be added by the guests while making a reservation.

    However, there are certain situations where we do not want this option to be visible for the guests. An example is guests that come for a specific conference, who book through their own booking engine.

    It would be great if we can turn on/off bookable services for the specific booking engine when requested. We went through all settings, but are unable to find a way to do so.

  10. The country code should no longer be transmitted via Channel Manager. This transmits the country of the IP address and can no longer be deleted from the profile. As a result, we have many empty addresses in the guest profiles.

  11. New Cancellation Tags Are confusing because they adjust dynamically based on the rate rules. What would be more useful is to be able to create a set of key tags that we can generate as the business to display on the room cards or rates when you have the selection of spaces. This would allow customers to make quicker choices and saving calling to understand what the room includes. Example tags for the room could be 'Hot Tub', or 'Has Lake View' or 'Includes Complimentary Minibar' or if these tags are applied at rate level then 'Non Refundable' or '50%…

  15. Currently, the city tax is not shown or added in the booking engine but only when guests have completed their booking. They then recieve a booking confirmation with a higher amount (city tax added on top of total booking amount), which causes a lot of questions. Therefore, the final amount (room + city tax) should be shown in the last step of the booking engine before the guests confirms the booking.

  16. For hotels with multiple rooms with different occupancy rates, it would be very helpful if the search results in the booking engine would reflect the searched occupancy. Currently, this is not possible and rooms are always shown in the same order in the booking engine, no matter for how many people you want to book a room.

    Desired behavior: if you search for a room for 2 persons, 2-person rooms are shown at the top. But if you search for a 6-person room, the 6-person rooms should be shown at the top.

  17. a more complete overview for the guest.
    With comming and previous bookings.
    Automatically see all invoices.
    Change invoice details (adress, company name etc.).
    Change dates / bookings

    So that the guests can do everything without the need to contact us.
