  1. Automatic linking of meals based on full board:
    first meal is breakfast on the 2nd day of the stay, last meal is dinner on the day of departure. This doesn't make sense.
    option 1: we choose a standard of first / last meals (for full board stays)
    option 2: set by default by Mews that the first meal is dinner on the first day, and the last meal is lunch on the day of departure (for full board stays).

  3. Op dit moment zet Mews de omzet door naar het financiële systeem op het moment dat de overnachting plaatsvindt.
    Ik zou graag zien (of in ieder geval de optie/keuze hebben) dat de omzet pas wordt genomen en doorgezet naar het financiële systeem op het moment dat de dienst volledig is afgenomen. Wat mij betreft zou dit zijn op het moment van uitchecken waarbij de definitieve factuur aan de gast wordt opgemaakt.

    Voor annuleringen zie ik hetzelfde voor mij, ook hierbij zou ik graag pas de omzet in het financiële systeem zien op de oorspronkelijke vertrek datum.

  4. In some properties, invoices should only be issued to companies/TA's that have been approved by headoffice (as its risky to issue invoices to some companies, who have a bad payment track record).

    Currently we have a right "issue invoices", but this does not take into account whether that account is able to be posted against, and will allow users to close any invoice against that company, creating a risk that clients will not pay their invoices. This is quite common in our industry.

  5. Add some more options on the cancellations report to be able to forecast the expected number of cancellations for a period of time, an event, or similar. Ideas...

    1) report based on consumption date instead of cancellation date : the intention is to analyze how far in advanced from arrival date are we getting cancellations so we can forecast the number of rooms we can overbook.
    2) filter by day of week to find trends based on which days of the week do we receive more cancellations, or which days of the week are most impacted by cancellations (day of…

  7. To be able to make a report regarding the Space Status by date, so one could know the exact Space Status (Dirty/OOS/Inspected) on a certain date in the past.
    Right now, if one changes the date on the Space Status Report, it will pop up today´s info.

  10. Filter by Segment for Reservations Overview Report:

    This will allow us to easily exclude "long stays" from arrivals, departures, stayovers...

    It will make housekeeping job easier, and will help to get a more accurate weekly forecast

  11. To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.

    This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.

  12. The system should be able to propose the cheapest rate possible to our guests (like booking.com does). Mixing the rates to offer the best deal is a guarantee to compete better against booking.com. Not mixing the rates allows booking.com to steal bookings from us. Exemple: you activate a Last Minute deal on the next 48h. A guest want to arrive today and stay for 3 days.   13. At the moment, when you need to allocate the rooms for the arrivals of the day, the display bar shows you ALL the rooms, even those that are out of service, occupied, or reserved. Which doesn't make any sense because there is way too much scrolling up and down to find a "vacant inspected room"

  14. The Rooming List can be used to add numerous reservations in one go. One of the necessities of this type of import is to be able to calibrate the reservations in one go also. Thus, if the client chooses that all the persons in the group need to pay their extra by themselves, then the Cashlist internals function needs to be ticked the same amount of times in Commander.

    Allow the Rooming List to also populate certain internals directly into the reservations/profiles in order to populate the information in one go.

If you go in to the space status report and view different dates the responsible person is based on the current day responsible person (i.e. Housekeeping lady 1 is responsible for room 101 on 27/10//20, according to the report the same persons was responsible for room 101 on 25/10/20 even though housekeeping lady 1 was not working that day or had repsonsibility for a different room)

    Would be great if Mews could store data for the responisble person each day, so you can easily track who was responsible for which room on which date and maybe let housekeeping manager assign…

  17. It would be easy to select multiple reservation when checking-in or changing room number. For instance, if you have multiple rooms in a basic category and you want to give them all an upgrade (however separate reservations), it would be nice to have an easy way to select them all and drag to a different category. Moreover, When checking in rooms who are not merged together, however do arrive together, it would be easy if you could all check them in at once.

  18. When making reports you often need to select more than just one rate group or one rate, or one company, or one of the filters. It would be amazing to be able to select the filters freely and choose more than one in each category
