  1. Currently, it’s not possible to change the rate of an availability block once it’s created. To make any adjustments, the block would need to be deleted and a new one created.

    It would be very helpful to have the option to modify the rate directly without having to delete and recreate the block.:)

  2. We would love to have a different role options for our housekeeping so that only the houskeeping manager can "check" a room. Everyone else should just be able to put the room to "clean".

    That is not yet possible.

  3. Mews braucht dringend eine Schnittstelle für die Meldung der monatlich erforderlichen Beherbergungsstatistik. JEDES Hotel in Deutschland muss diese Meldung monatlich einreichen. Warum gibt es in Mews weder eine Schnittstelle für e-Statistik.core noch einen passenden Report, der auf dem Portal importiert werden kann.
    Aktuell muss ich die Daten manuell in einem Formular auf IDEV eingeben. Bitte handelt schnell um diese unnötige Arbeit zu automatisieren bzw. zu vereinfachen.

  4. Sometimes you have to manually retrieve reservations via the Booking or Expedia integration. It would be great if you could specify “Retrieve all reservations created between date X and date Y” so that not all bookings are transferred again. We often have cases where changes that have already been made are no longer there when the booking is transferred again. Usually, you know on which day there was a glitch, and you would only have to retrieve the reservations that were created on that day.

  5. It would be very helpful if there was a cross-search bar for product within the billing window. There is a cross-search sanction within the additional services, but often not everyone knows which product is in which additional service. Therefore, a general cross-search function would be helpful.

  6. It would be great if you could specify not only your preferred space features, but also your preferred floor. We generally allocate rooms from top to bottom, but we have a few guests who prefer to stay on the ground floor because they don't use the elevator, so that would be very convenient.

  8. Semi revert the changes of the new ledger/ bring back the old ledger.

    The old ledger was too long with all the prepayments but it had the best insight in to be resolved bills. In the current guest ledger I have a bigger list, with bills that have been closed for months but are now showing because the usage date is today. Which causes more clutter then before.

  14. Right now the maximum people any space category can accomodate in Mews is 100 p. when you do the space category set up. Our restaurant can accomodate almost 300p.

    It would be great if the maximum could me increased for the bigger venues such as restaurant and meeting room

  15. Currently, policy exceptions (e.g., special rules for events or holidays) are evaluated based on the arrival date. As a result, exceptions do not apply when guests arrive before the event period begins – even if part of their stay falls within that period.

    Example: For New Year’s Eve we normally require a deposit. However, this deposit is not charged if the guest arrives before the New Year’s Eve policy exception begins, even though their stay includes the event dates.

    Improvement Proposal:
    Policy exceptions should not be based on the arrival date but should instead be evaluated using the stay dates.…

  16. It should be possible to edit the rate of an existing availability block. There are multiple reasons as to why a rate needs to be changed and deleting and remaking the whole block slows down work a lot.

  17. When attempting to export more than 4MB of data, the Reservation Report often fails and times out, particularly for larger enterprise properties.

    It is important to take into account that properties with larger inventories are likely to have more reservation data overall; therefore, they should not have to constantly rely on exporting smaller batches and having to piece them together.

  18. I don't like the fact that when I delete a Space, it gets completely deleted. Reservations show "Unassigned" for "Assigned Space", and it can be no longer retrieved via the API.

    This basically breaks the referential integrity of the data, which is a rather serious issue. Such deletions should only be done as a soft delete - ie. the Space should be marked as deleted, and deletion date captured. It must no longer be assignable, but it should stay there so past reservations can still reference it.

  19. There is no place to restrict for example reservations with specific rate codes to check in from the kiosk. This means that people that should have been forced to check in from the front desk for example for a registration of some type of gift cards, validation of employees on employee rates etc can check in through the kiosk without any form of validation.

    Can we please implement a log for user management actions?
    Right now, there is no tracking in place to see who created, deleted, or modified a user. Adding this log will help us monitor changes, ensure accountability, and maintain accurate records.
