Availability Notifications for Inquired Reservations
Instead of overbooking, we use Inquired Reservations as a waiting list to optimise occupancy. It'd be great to get notified when a reservation is cancelled that there are inquired reservations for that date which can potentially now be confirmed.

Groups - Allow More Verbiage on Booking Link
Add additional field to the availability block to communicate details on the booking link. Right now, guests with booking link cannot book pre and post dates. Guests using the link do not know that and get upset. If there was a field linked to the booking link, we could add a Welcome, specify block dates, and cut-off dates, along with who to contact to book outside of the block.

Prices shown despite rate restrictions
It would be very helpful for us if it was possible for managers to display the prices for a price query / new booking despite rate restrictions (for example MLOS).

Automatic Space Blocks
Automatic block on space prior to arrival and after departure, to ensure enough time to prepare space for the next guest. This is important for units or during peak periods, so that space isn't booked back-to-back when cleaning capacity is limited.

Although we put in rate and room description that for the 3rd guest, extra £25 will be added for the extra bed, any prepaid rate plans debit the guest for the whole stay excluding the extra bed £25 per night. We invoice companies and often have to add a reference or Purchase order number (PO number.) currently this is only able to do as part of a travel agency booking. which means you have to assign an agent, add your reference number, delete the agent.

Change PAX on inhouse reservations
What we would like is to be able to change the PAX on a nightly basis.
E.g.
"Guest A" has reserved a room for 5 nights. On night 1,2,3 Guest A stays in the room alone. Night 4 & 5 "Guest B" will join "Guest A" in the same room.
As for now we have no possibility to change the amount adults/children since there's already products that has been consumed previous nights. (breakfast --> via product rule)

When issuing a new invoice after rebate - text rebate can be removed
when issuing a "rebate" the text rebate is given on each item line (should not be neccessary if the document type is "credit memo" (see a separate idea).

If a guest stays several night we would like the PDF to include the quantity and unit price.
The MEWS invoice only shows the total at line level, then the guest must divide the line sum by qty of night to find the rate/unit price3 votes -

A good old rooming list with the exact amount of departures and arrivals. nifty to see how many people are leaving a room/ beds in a dormitory. and also how many will be arriving on the day.

Enable new properties to transfer historical reservation data from old pms to Mews
Properties that are looking for a PMS switch want to keep the historical reservation and move them to Mews. Currently this isn't possible.

Add company invoicing address to Swiss QR IBAN invoice information
Thank you for the Swiss QR IBAN integration. We need a small change for it because some bank are refusing to accept payments as long es the address of the company is not correct.
So we would love to get the correct company invoicing address in the QR information on the invoice and not the physical address as it is today.
(And having an Mews intergrated accounting tool which creates the necessary QR IBAN reference codes would be even more perfect!)17 votes -

Would be great to have a filter on the accounting ledger report where you can filter each line instead of exporting first and then have to copy past all the guest details to look up bills.

E-mail performance statistics
The possibility to have insight in the performance of specific e-mail types, such as the "After start e-mail". From a marketing point of view it would be useful to keep track of open rates for example.

Can't "unallocate" a provisional booking?
We are trying to remove the unit number from a provisional booking but don't seem to be able to do so. this is something you are able to do with a confirmed booking. any chance this feature can be enabled for optional bookings too?
