possibility to add an icon on the timeline to alert of space features request on reservation or guest profile.

Ability to remove the new update 'refresh' notification
It would be great if the notification to refresh the browser due to new updates could be moved/removed without refreshing the browser as it tends to hide part of the timeline, so users are often having to refresh the timeline and get back to the position they were working on every time there is a minor update

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. It is unlikely that we will remove the refresh function as it is required in order for us to migrate you to a newer version of Mews which often includes the latest security updates. We can however, look into ensuring that the update does not break your workflow on the timeline.
We will be looking into improvments for the timeline in 2022 and will consider your request.

Clearly show when a group has been split into different rooms on the timeline
It would be SO useful if any group reservation that has been split into different rooms could be signalled on the timeline either by a symbol (such as the current upgraded, female traveller and return guest symbols) or by an on-screen prompt that notifies you that they are currently in separate rooms.

Automatic Room Upgrades Based on Availability
Would be great if the system could automatically upgrade certain reservations to a higher room category under certain availability circumstance (that could be defined and edited).
ie: If lesser room category is at 100% occupancy, the system would automatically upgrade some reservation to the higher room category, freeing up the lower category to be sold again.

Have availability date range auto set with "end date" 7-10 days from selected "start date"
It would be great to only have to select a desired check-in date, or "start date" and then have the check-out or "end date" auto fill as a 7-10 spread and default to showing Net Values instead of Gross.

If booker/payer is different from guest, show credit card icon on main screen of reservation
We notice that, if we receive a booking by the Distributor, in wich the payer/booker is different from the guest, there is no credit card icon shown in the main screen (and also not on the reservation report). In this case, I think it would be more clear, if the credit card icon shows in the main reservation screen, next to the booker or next to the payment card line.

Show employee who created a note
It would be nice to have the name of the employee who left a note on the reservation, This way is easier for departments to communicate. Since everyone needs to login with their own credential Mews should display who wrote the note. This will be a helpful tool for management to follow up with the person who's left a specific note on reservation. (e.g. guest complained about noise, the manager will be able to follow up with the receptionist who left the note- for more details.)

On mobile / smartphone: Display extended version of reservation module
On smartphones, the extended version of the reservation module is not visible. By "extended version of the reservation module", I mean the right hand side when you open a reservation in Commander. It would be nice to be able to see it on mobile as well.

Room search based on requested/needed attributes
We should be able in Commander to filter room search upon making a new booking or re-assignment based on requested/needed attributes. Also we should offer to guests on Distributor to pick the attributes of their choice and inventory should be shown accordingly.

Would it be possible to make a difference between guests, who completed the online check-in and all others. At the moment you have to choose between checking in all guests automatically or none.

Notifications needed for new same day bookings
Please include a pop up note on the dashboard or send it as a message in MEWS for new same day arrivals/bookings created on the day for the day - to assist in preparation for arrivals. The channel manager emails are not sufficient and reliable enough to reach the right group of people.

Make past and future online checked-in reservations visible
At the moment, online checked-in reservations are only visible on the day of arrival. In statistics you can find the amount of online check-ins in the past and future however, it is not possible to click through and see the specific guest/reservation the online check-in belongs to. Past of future reservations only show a grey 'manage' button.

Display calendar events when creating a new reservation
If we already use the calendar events section in the property, it would really be most useful, to also show the number of an event in the calendar upon creating a new reservation. This would help to quickly explain our guests why there might be a higher rate or high demand for this period.

Information of reservation when you put the mouse on it
When you put the mouse on a reservation it shows information which is not needed and doesn't show information which is useful.
We know the arrival and departure and name and room number and type of room. I would like to see the number of guests, source of reservation (travel agent, Booking.com, Expedia.com...).

Order spaces within the Space category
Order spaces within the Space category in the timeline.
At the moment, we can't order bedrooms as we wish in the timeline.
Depending on the location of the bedroom in the building, it makes more sense to have it in a certain order.

Messaging function upgrade
I love the new feature that the guest can contact us via chat. However, it's not very easy that the guestchat and the intern chat is on the same page. also it is not possible to delete a person in the group (for example when they left, or acidentaly add the wrong person) also a delete button for a chat would be great (intern). does the guest chat also be saved in their
