  1. Currently, the 'manage reservation' screen for groups does not show a summary of the total cost for the group, but only shows the total of each individual reservation.

    With optional reservations, there is no bill added to the 'billing' tab yet, so there is no (easy) way to verify how much the total cost is for the group reservation. This causes difficulties especially when sending out quotes to the guest.

  3. It would be very useful if you could view the status of an existing support case (e.g. see if it's been looked at, actioned, etc.) via the digital assistant. Currently once a case is submitted via the digital assistant, I'm not aware of a way to contact support without creating another case via the digital assistant. If you email support@mews.com the automated reply says emails cannot be responded to directly, and creates another case.

    It would be much simpler if you could give your case number to the digital assistant to get a link to a summary page. Also, it…

  4. It should be possible to remove a guest from a group.
    Cancelation and rebooking is not a logical process. The canceled booking stays forever in the group, doesn´t it?

    Shouldn´t be to hard to develop. ;-)

  6. Offer Pay by Invoice to certain companies linked to a voucher or based on rate. We would like to offer certain companies that have a voucher code to book direct with us the option to pay via invoice instead of having to fill in card details.

When making a booking and we need to select a date; could we get the dates on the calendar highlighted to let us know something important is happening on this date, i.e bank holiday, special event, wedding, or any restrictions. As when making a booking on Mews, we don't always use the calendar therefor we can miss if there is something important happening on that date.

  8. Hi, we need to filter by last name, but the export only contains first and last name in one cell, so we can only filter by first name.
    It couldn´t be to difficult to make a change, couldn´t it?

  9. Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

  10. Receive notifications when a blocklisted customer attempts to book to stay at the hotel so that the team are aware of blocked guests who are trying to book in.

  11. Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

  12. Calendar within TASKS or AVAILIBILITY BLOCKS:
    when introducting groups providing the arrival date (which is in the future) the departure date does not take into account the arrival time, but it comes back to
    real date. Same happens with tasks

  14. It would be very helpful if the age categories for children in the guest statistics could be adapted to the hotel-specific definition.
    For example: 0-5 years and 6-12 years instead of 0-9 years, etc.

  16. As one of the individual permissions, give the option to restrict exporting reports. With the current phishing attempts it is very important to limit who can export reservations reports.

  17. We have a mandatory field for canelationreason when we cancel a product, but there is no report for checking this proccesses.
    We need a report sorted by products with reason, guest name, booking date and cancellation date etc.
    As it is now, checking is extremely time-consuming because you have to search for everything individually.

It would be great if Mews had an option to separate buildings - I have several properties I have worked with that have multiple buildings (i.e. a barn, a house, an extension or two tower blocks all selling under one brand), and in some cases multiple financiers who need statistics on each building or multiple buildings with different aspects of accommodation splits etc, but setting this up for accounting is really difficult. MEWS already has a building number field in the settings for spaces; it would be great if we could just filter accounting reports based on the Building Number…

  20. Having an ‘Out of Sales’ status which blocks the sale over a date period but does not remove it from the inventory.

    It is possible to use House Use but this is not taken into account by RMS DUETTO.
