  1. In other systems we had before we could see in the mobil versjon who created the task and who have updateded it. it would be greate if we could see it in the mews app aswell. I can see that in mews desktop versjon i can see this info, but its much better to have it in the app aswell since our technical department only take with their phone when they go out to do a task.

  4. The Excel rooming list can now only be uploaded once and not more. When trying another upload, it is not possible. We often have group rooming lists who change a lot and it would be easy if we can "upload" new rooming lists and override the old ones by just one click (also owner/guest function) and all other information like phone number, e-mail address, country, etc.

  5. When creating a new profile to associate with a bill or to issue the bill on the company during check out it takes very long for a new company profile to be available for selection as company owner or associated profile. Sometimes it takes several minutes for the company profile to become available in the input fields!!!
    This is unacceptable for most guests and unnecessarily prolongs and delays the checkout process.

  6. Currently company profiles are added to guest profiles automatically. This should be optional via a tick box. In our case guest' are not always booking via the same company (rate).

  7. Currently, Mews does not allow users to transfer space categories to different bookable services; instead, users have to be manually recreated in the new service. It would be beneficial and useful if we could create a transfer process (Rates, Products included)

  8. Currently, tasks in Mews can only be marked with a deadline and then completed. However, it would be very helpful to have an additional status — such as “In Progress” — to indicate when someone has already started working on a task.

    This would greatly improve team communication and coordination, especially in situations where multiple users might otherwise pick up the same task or wonder whether it’s already being handled.

    Having a clear task lifecycle (e.g. To Do → In Progress → Done) would provide more visibility and reduce confusion.

  9. Summary of the Issue

    During check-out, we frequently face the problem that POS receipts (e.g. from MEWS POS or other integrations) cannot be properly split across multiple rooms or guest invoices.
    This is because identical POS items are automatically merged into a single billing item (e.g. multiple grape juices combined into one position).

    Once merged, this item cannot be split afterwards and can therefore only be settled on one invoice.
    The only workaround is to manually calculate and allocate amounts across different payment methods, which is time-consuming and error-prone.

  10. Be able to quickly and easily export all invoices (in PDF format) for a specific period (day, week, month) with a single click.
    Currently, you have to click on each invoice, print it, and save it as a PDF.
    An individual PDF export for the desired period would make this task much easier.

  13. Dear MEWS Team,

    I would like to share a suggestion regarding the Timeline view, which has a huge yet unexpressed potential.

    While visually clean, it does not leverage one of the most powerful tools for operational efficiency: colour-coding.

    Color can instantly convey information that, otherwise, requires opening each booking or navigating multiple sections. Introducing colour indicators directly on the Timeline could transform it into a true operational dashboard, providing immediate, high-impact insights for the front office and reservations teams.

    Here are some examples of what colour-coding could highlight:
    • Payment Status (e.g., prepaid, pending, partially paid, failed)

  14. I’m missing a proper script for check-in at the reception, which would make the process more structured and consistent, while ensuring that important steps are not overlooked.

    I imagine a button such as “Auto Check-In”, which would clearly guide the staff through the following steps:

    Settle or verify the guest folio if not already done

    Check and acknowledge the guest’s loyalty membership status, or invite them to join the program

    Offer upselling or room upgrades

    Generate the key

    Confirm check-in completion

    As I see it, this would ensure that all critical steps are followed and that the process is handled…

  15. Hello,

    We would like to be able to add a ''buffer period'' or preparation time between rentals, especially for hourly rentals.

    For example, if a guests rents a bike from 9 to 10am, and my buffer is 1 hour, then it will only be available to rent again from 11 am.

    This will prevent guest overlap if they are a few minutes early or late.

    1. Clickable guest name in chat

    It would be very helpful if the guest name in the chat header was clickable and linked directly to the guest profile.

    Currently there is no direct way to access the profile of the guest you are chatting with.
    The only workaround is:

    Copy the guest name → open a new tab → search for the guest → open the profile.

    A direct link would save several steps and make handling chats much faster.

  16. For example, when selecting a start date that is one year ahead, the end date should automatically jump to the same date (or at least the same year) as the selected start date. From there, the user could easily adjust the end date forward if needed.

    Currently, when choosing a start date far in the future, the end date calendar does not follow automatically. The user has to manually navigate one year forward again in the end date field, which makes the process slower and less user-friendly.

  17. Capacity per room not per category would be Great since mews still doesnt have Inventory to manage extra beds. Some of the Room in the category have Place for bed some Not, so please , Capacity per room

  18. Being able to filter more in the system, instead of having to "sort by" or select each category one by one to get the information needed.
    For example, being able to select multiple rate codes/or guests with a specific cost when filtering in the booking report.
    Also being able to search by the guest name in the reservation report.

  19. It would be nice to turn around to guest journey in the booking engine, so the guest are presented for the different prices and/or packages first and then then can select which room type they would prefer.

    Adding a calendar to show prices would also be great.
