  1. Allow Admin Users to create an internal group to facilitate group messages between staff. Right now they can only select staff one by one.

  2. Hi Mews

    We wish to send the breakfast list to our supplier along with the next day's breakfast orders. The product checklist is very useful, but we’d like to know if it’s possible to remove the guest names and display only the room numbers instead.

    Additionally, is there a way to automate this process by scheduling the list to be exported and sent out?

  3. Being able to offer a voucher / promo code that allows for a price reduction from the booking amount. E.g. using code "Spring100" in the booking engine to receive a 100 € discount on the price. That is sometimes more effective than offering a %-discount.

  5. We are experiencing attempts to get employees to login to a false login-site, where a thirdparty is then mirroring the login credentials, and gets access to the account without the employee knowing. We wish the security level increased. here is some suggetions:
    - Messages in case of login attempts on a new device, and the new login should be approved
    - Possibility to limit login only to onsite IP-adresses
    - Other security measures

  6. Warum muss ich bei einer Firmenreservierung sofort einen Gastnamen anlegen? Es wäre einfacher, wenn ich nur den Namen der buchenden Person anlegen könnte und die Gästenamen dann nachtrage. So muss ich die Felder doppelt ausfüllen. Gerade bei Firmen, die mehrere Zimmer gebucht haben, ist das anstrengend.

  7. We are struggling with late check in after the front desk staff has gone home.

    for example, a person books 21:00 arrives 23:00 but the front desk went home 20:00.

    The guest got assigned to a dirty room and the kiosk lets the person check in.
    Would like MEWS to assign the guest to inspected rooms first. And stop the guest to check in to a dirty room.

  8. A report that is exportable and can be filtered to display all space/room changes at different stages of the reservation, especially for Confirmed and Checked-in.

    **The Action Log displays space changes but does not allow the user to define reservation state.

  9. The cleaning status of the parent room should also change automatically if the parent room is booked with two seperate reservations. F.e. If both reservations checked in -> parent room should change to same status of both reservations. The same applies if both rooms have been checked out.
    At the moment housekeeping has to change the status of the parent room manually.

  10. It would be far easier for management to see how many guests are present on any one night but having a simple sum total formula added at the base to see total occupants. It takes forever to click on every room, look to the right, log th number, then onto the next room and manually add up the occupants for all the rooms. Next to the customers name on the timeline it could also hold the number of occupants for that room/property so it can bee see at a glance instead of actually clicking on each room.

  12. Historical reports for past groups that show their pick-up, average rate, and total revenue.Historical group reports are important to most hotel’s performance. It is also needed on a weekly basis to complete the STR report for the previous week.

  14. When using digital solutions and integrations, accurate timing is crucial.

    In Mews, the selected arrival time does not always match the exact check-in time when using automated check-in. Sometimes, there can be an additional delay of up to 10 minutes before the reservation is fully checked in, causing issues—for instance, when promising guests "check-in at 3 PM" and having an automated flow dependent on the exact check-in time.

    By implementing an option like "Start check-in X minutes before arrival time," each property could individually accommodate this delay, significantly improving the guest experience.

  16. Can we please create a feature to block room charges for so no one can add any unnecessary charges to rooms

    Right now, we are only commenting on bookings that should be on a no post basis, but of course there is human error at one point or another and it is sometimes easy to miss the comment especially when there are multiple information on the booking, and we end up not getting paid for these services sometimes

  17. Our establishment has to deal with numerous overbookings and, following discussions with your support team, we were told that Mews does not have any features designed to prevent this situation. Overbookings are a nightmare for responsible hoteliers, who have to find alternative accommodation at their own expense if no solution can be found internally, and they have a negative impact on the satisfaction of the guests affected.
