Consider the other categories overbooking before sending availability
Today, if you have an overbooking of 2 Classic rooms, but only 1 Deluxe room, the system will still send availability for 1 Deluxe room even though you are in overbooking of 1 room. It can be extremely dangerous.

Have availability date range auto set with "end date" 7-10 days from selected "start date"
It would be great to only have to select a desired check-in date, or "start date" and then have the check-out or "end date" auto fill as a 7-10 spread and default to showing Net Values instead of Gross.

Add a field for disabilities
I recommend adding a field to the customer profile or reservation about disabilities. For example, someone in a wheelchair that cannot use the top bunk. Personally, I would like to let the hotel know that I am deaf.

Get more power and involvement from other hotels for new ideas
I see a lot of cool ideas from all Mews customers, but it would be so nice if any hotel could comment on each idea.
If I put in a idea I need to wait a very long time for the voting process. What I would suggest, when a new idea is written by a hotel, is that Mews sends a message or emails to all its hotels (divided over several days to prevent spam emails). Notifications needed for new same day bookings
Please include a pop up note on the dashboard or send it as a message in MEWS for new same day arrivals/bookings created on the day for the day - to assist in preparation for arrivals. The channel manager emails are not sufficient and reliable enough to reach the right group of people.

Large number of reservations in one group is slow
This one is for the developers.
We have group of between 200 and 300 reservations spread out over 10 days in september. When you load one of the reservations the other 200+ are also loaded.
This makes every action (checkin, checkout, open bill, close bill yadayada) you need to take is very very slow.
I suspect the list is loaded synchronously. Maybe it helps if the reservation is loaded asynchronously. I only care about this 1 reservation not about the 200+ others...
This reservation for example is part of a large group.

It would be great when we are able to choose if we want to change the price per night with or without products. (we prefer without, but that has changed, probably for a good reason, to being able to choose would be fantastic.)

Email notifications for employees when guest messages
Send an automated email notification to make reservations aware there is a guest message waiting. This would save the team having to check MEWS messenger as well as emails.

Als gasten zelf hun optionele boeking definitief maken krijgen wij hier geen melding van.
Maar wij moeten hier soms nog acties op ondernemen zoals bijvoorbeeld een diner inboeken als ze een arrangement gereserveerd hebben.

Calendar with shown restrictions
For better usage of managing and deleting of restrictions there would be great to have a calendar which can display there restrictions and enable to manage them.

products in stay and service could be the same
Some products are being used in stay but are also used in service.
For example we have rental bikes that are booked in advance, but are also rented out by guests from outside the hotel. They don't have a booking with us, we book this on a paymaster but have to recreate the products we already have with the stay products. It would be great if we van connect or copy them in some way. On mobile / smartphone: Display extended version of reservation module
On smartphones, the extended version of the reservation module is not visible. By "extended version of the reservation module", I mean the right hand side when you open a reservation in Commander. It would be nice to be able to see it on mobile as well.

voucher field in the first step of reservation screen
In order to start a reservation office for the several hotels in one destination, we would like to see and compare voucher rates of all hotels to offer the guest the best fitting room.
That would work, as soon as we have the possibility to put in the voucher in the reservation screen before we choose the hotel from one destination.12 votes -
Selecting the reservation number with a double click
When double clicking on the reservation number, it also selects some text next to the reservation number.
In the daily use, you often have to copy the reservation number, so it's much easier and faster if you can do it with a double click.
