This would be a particularly valuable feature for properties that host a high volume of groups, events, conferences, and congresses, as it would significantly improve the check-out process for both guests and staff.
At the moment, guests are required to go to the front desk to complete their check-out.
Perhaps there could be an option to add a checkbox at the group or reservation level that allows guests to check themselves out, provided their individual balance has been fully settled.

This is urgently needed.
Mews promotes the idea of helping properties sell much more than just hotel rooms and generate additional revenue through bookable spaces and services. We fully support this approach and are currently trying to use Mews to sell our new bowling lanes.
But this is exactly where we hit a very basic limitation: there is no suitable or neutral space type.
We are forced to choose something like a bed, desk, parking space or campsite – and this space type is then prominently displayed to the guest in the Booking Engine. That makes the booking journey confusing and simply does not fit the product we are actually selling.
At the very least, generic options such as Space, Unit, Item, Seat or Booking are needed. Even better would be the ability for properties to define their own external space type/name.
It is frustrating that the concept of “sell everything you have” can ultimately fail because of such a small but highly visible restriction in the Booking Engine.
This request has existed for several years and clearly affects many different use cases. Please prioritize a flexible solution.
