Yes, very important! If you have a lots of reservations that´s been made confirmed but they should have been optional. It wil be a big job to cancel and then make new once.

totally agree with this! very important and would safe us a lot of work / time, plus confusion for the client as we have to amend their confirmation number

This seems essential in the current climate. please work on this. considering the advice provided to me from your tech support is, when a prepaid rate is booked, and guest has insufficient funds available on their card, the booking will still go through and your suggestion is to make this booking 'Optional' until payment can be taken.

Very interresting option even from Confirmed to Inquiry, would be nice as well.
With the actual sanitary situation where 'COVID19', care of regulation for business and tourism, we receive lot of request to place the reservation on a 'On Hold' statut, to re-reserve on a later stage, when travel regulation would be open again.

Please allow us to change the reservation status between confirmed - optional - cancelled back and forward. In these uncertain times when everything is changing all the time and I hope Mews with it. This is a basic feature which should be allowed.

Please also think about to re-activate cancelled reservations.

Converting bookings from confirmed to option will notably help the Reservation and Group department to ease any processes in a matter of a second, instead of cancelling and recreating the same booking merely for a simple correction.

I send an option to guest, they confirm but don't provide a credit card so we would need to change that confirmed reservation back to optional to motivate the guest to provide payment details.

That would be good, as we are not able now on mews yo send a proforma invoice for an optional booking. We then have to confirm it to send a proforma, cancel it and re-create as optional.
