We are so pleased to let you know that your feature request has been released. The new smart simple detail has a wealth of information and can be accessed from the Timeline, Reservation overview and Customer dashboard.
In addition to the above, it is also possible to check reservations in and out from the smart detail.

I don't think that's really the right place for it, because it's not really a guest classification but only relevant until the guest is checked in. I would have seen it more as a room status
