This status update is part of our ongoing work to simplify and streamline how our UserVoice feedback forum operates. We are reducing the number of statuses to two (Idea to Upvote + Released) to help manage expectations about where each idea stands and to minimize the number of status updates required from our product teams. Hi Mewsers,
if you have online check-out enabled, guests receive the copy of their bill to their mailbox right after they finish online check-out. (they receive only copy of the bill which was closed by guest during the online. check-out.).Other bills closed via Commander are not being sent automatically to the guest yet.

Rosta supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Rosta commentedProperties in the US & Canada require every guest to present their ID upon arrival or prior to the arrival. This is to verify the guest identity.
Mews doesn't support scanning of US IDs for the purpose of guest verification, there is no way for properties to verify the guest identity in an automated way natively in Mews. This requires properties to use 3rd party providers that support this functionality.
Having this feature would increase adoption of Mews for properties looking for contactless check-in.

Enable guests to modify and cancel booking in online check-in if it's outside the cancellation period. This would simplify and automate the process for hoteliers where guests need to call/email to make any changes.
