Guestcards Mews x Feratel
I was wondering if there could be a connection between Mews and Feratel where we could just open guests reservation and with one click send them the guestcard and therefore we would not have to go through Feratel for that. Would save us massive time.

Lock reservation after online check-in time change
When a reservation is locked in Mews (to ensure the guest keeps the specific room they have been assigned), the reservation currently becomes unlocked if the guest updates their check-in time during online check-in (e.g. via Duve).
This creates a risk that the room assignment can be changed afterwards without us noticing, since we do not receive any notification that the reservation was modified and unlocked.
Proposed improvement:
If a reservation is locked, changes made during online check-in (such as check-in time updates) should not automatically unlock the reservation. Alternatively, Mews could keep the reservation locked or automatically re-lock it…1 vote -
Virtual Credit Card automatic charging from Channel Managers configurable with products included
When CHM bookings are settled using a VCC (Virtual Credit Card), it would be best if the amount that can be automatically charged to the card can be configured to add the products added through product rules.

POS API: Webhook events for order creation and item updates (KDS integration)
Use Case:
We're developing a Kitchen Display System (KDS) integration with the MEWS POS API. A KDS needs real-time notifications when:
- A new order is created
- Items are added/modified on an existing order

- order.state.updated - Only fires on state changes (e.g., open→paid), not on initial creation

Limit the number of rooms sold via channel manager
We are a small hotel with only 15 rooms. I would love to be able to limit the number of rooms sold both, at one session and in total.
We recently received a booking of 10 rooms under one name and for a single night only. We now set a min. stay of two nights to prevent that from happening in the future. However, for certain periods I would like to be able to close the sale of rooms automatically via channel manager after a particular number of rooms sold.

Give access to service fee for additional services via API
Our integration allows guests to book upsells through our application,
which are then posted to Mews. While this generally works well, we have
encountered an issue since adding support for ordering additional services.Specifically, we are unable to locate the service fee through the API before
an order is placed. To ensure transparency, we need to show the guest the
full price, including the service fee, before they confirm their order.
Although I can see the fee by fetching order items after the transaction is

Display Lynx door lock PIN in PMS
One of our properties uses Lynx to talk to an automatic door lock system. Each booking generates a PIN number which is sent to the locks and automatically enables for the duration of their stay. We have to log into the Lynx system to see this, as the PMS field named PinNumber is not visible anywhere. It would be great if this could be added.
It would also be great if there was a direct integration to lock providers such as Yale and TTLock, so we could skip the third party. I understand Mews wanting to push their own lock…1 vote -
Zapier: important customer data missing in the integration
I use Zapier to synchronise new and updated customers from Mews to Zapier and then to an email campaign provider to send out campaigns. There is a very important field that is not synced from Mews to Zapier: "send marketing mails". We all want to respect the GDPR, but then we need that important data field. :)

STR Segmentation via API
There is already a STR interface, but STR told me today that it's unable to pull segmentation via API. This is critical for us. Just pulling all revenue stats into "Totals" is not good enough for our hotels.

Guest Portal link to be enabled on in room tablets. The guest should be able to access his booking on the in room tablets.

Resdiary - Default venue connected to Hotel
When reserving tables in the guest profile in Mews, the restaurant associated with the hotel the user is currently logged into should be automatically displayed.
Alternatively, the selection field should be left empty or include a prompt such as "Please select."
