2. get-all-reservations is not returning CompanionIds

   I guess this is a bug in the API.
   The call never returns any CompanionIds within a reservation. The companions have been added both, by API Call and via the MEWS frontend

4. Being able to look on an invoicenumner without having to enter start and end date

   Now you always need to enter a period when you are looking for a bill (bills/getall). And the period cannot exceed 3 months. If we do not know when an invoice was issued, we just have the number, it is not easy to find.

5. Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does

   Get All Accounting Items: doesn't have a Service ID filter like Get All Reservations does. Once Spacetime launches: as we are filtering Reservations to show only the Accommodation/Stay bookings, we also want to only receive the Accommodation/Stay accounting items. As a single Accounting Category ID can be shared amongst multiple services, if we can't filter by Service Id we may end up including postings in Accommodation reporting that shouldn't be included.

8. Change access and client token names to clearer-sounding ones

   "Access token," and "Client token" sound confusing to me.

   I propose changing these names to "Specific token" and "Global token" respectively.

9. Accounting Item - Reservation relationship

   You have an API endpoint https://mews-systems.gitbook.io/connector-api/operations/finance#get-all-accounting-items

   Returned Accounting Item data has OrderId field:

   Unique identifier of the order (or Reservation which is a special type of order) the item belongs to.

   Can you add ReservationId field into Accounting Item?

   The problem is that we can't know if an accounting item belongs to any specific reservation or not.

   I tried to collect unique OrderId values from the list of accounting items and next fetch reservations with ReservationIds filter (to see if we have a reservation with Id same as OrderId), but if I pass non-reservation ID - I see the error "Invalid ReservationIds". So, this will not work.

   It's the problem for our app because we need to understand if an accounting item belongs to a specific reservation or not.

   Adding ReservationId field into Accounting item will solve this issue: if ReservationId is empty - the item belongs to order.

   Otherwise, ReservationId has Id of reservation ( ReservationId equals to Orderid).

11. Connector API: Extend Configuration Get with Hotel's T&C's

    Some integrators build self service kiosks, with this extension to the configuration/get endpoint the terms and conditions the property has loaded in to Mews will be returned.

12. Real-Time Restriction Change Notifications

    I would like to suggest an enhancement to the Mews Connector API. Currently, the API provides a getAllRestrictions endpoint to retrieve restriction data. However, hotels frequently update their restrictions, and if these changes are not promptly communicated to channel managers, it can result in incorrect availability being displayed, potentially leading to unwanted bookings.

    To address this, I propose the implementation of a notification system for restriction changes, similar to the existing notifications for rate changes or reservation changes. By providing real-time updates via webhook or websocket, downstream services can more effectively manage and synchronize restriction changes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
