  1. New Cancellation Tags Are confusing because they adjust dynamically based on the rate rules. What would be more useful is to be able to create a set of key tags that we can generate as the business to display on the room cards or rates when you have the selection of spaces. This would allow customers to make quicker choices and saving calling to understand what the room includes. Example tags for the room could be 'Hot Tub', or 'Has Lake View' or 'Includes Complimentary Minibar' or if these tags are applied at rate level then 'Non Refundable' or '50%…

In quotation mails for 1-5 rooms the guest/booker can see rate details (name, conditions..) but for more than 5 rooms the rate details (cancellation, payment...) are not displayed, therefore we have to send group offers for more than 5 rooms manually to show cancellation and payment conditions.

  5. For hotels with multiple rooms with different occupancy rates, it would be very helpful if the search results in the booking engine would reflect the searched occupancy. Currently, this is not possible and rooms are always shown in the same order in the booking engine, no matter for how many people you want to book a room.

    Desired behavior: if you search for a room for 2 persons, 2-person rooms are shown at the top. But if you search for a 6-person room, the 6-person rooms should be shown at the top.

  8. It would be useful is the Kiosk and the Guest Portal (online check-in) could display different products. Currently they use the same list of promoted products. This causes a problem at times when the hotel is unmanned and the guest checks in and adds a product (e.g. a birthday celebration pack) but there are staff onsite to deliver it to them. It is fine when they are doing online check-in as there is time before they arrive to prepare the product.

  9. When a reservation goes through Siteminder the booker information is not added in Mews. We have alot of reservations made by a booker for a guest, when the guest arrives we only have their name and the booked details are gone so if the booker wants to pay we have to add this information manually after finding it in siteminder. its all there we just need the information to be added into Mews as well.

Improve Guest Messaging Feature so it only indicates a NEW/UNREAD message for messages that were not read and or replied to by another team member, as it distracts from other things that may be a higher priority at the start of someone's shift. I can see having all messages coming up as new and unread for members of the management team to see how people are communicating back and forth with guests, but for the average front desk or housekeeping associate, it looks like unanswered requests.   14. The country code should no longer be transmitted via Channel Manager. This transmits the country of the IP address and can no longer be deleted from the profile. As a result, we have many empty addresses in the guest profiles.

  15. If you want to make a new reservation for a new travel agent, you first have to create a company profile and then the travel agent contract so you can add the TA to the reservation. For travel agents who only make 1 reservation, this is a big hassle.

    It would be easier if you could do this in 1 go and thus make the TA contract and company profile in 1 flow (while making the reservation itself).

  16. When we decided to use Mews, a big point was the booking engines features. When searching for a room for 3 or 4 persons, only rooms having 3 or 4 beds where shown for booking.
    Without telling anybody about the change, Mews now shows also rooms having pnly two beds and asked the guest to book more rooms. If a family wants to stay at our resort, the want a room/apartment having 3 or 4 beds, not 2 seperated apartments with 2 beds each. So please make it possible to change this.   17. Let me give you an example to explain my problem : Let's assume we are only open on friday night and saturday night. If a client wants to book a 2 nights journey from friday to sunday, the first picture of the booking engine calendar seen by the client shows the day of friday and saturday in black colours but the day of sunday is greyed out.   18. Please make it possible to create a voucher code that can be used onced by guests when they book. This prevents sharing the code with friends & families and guest can be reached with more specific and personal codes/discounts.

  19. I realised that the Mews booking engine does not use labels for the form (first name, last name, email address, ...). Autofill won't work properly.

    Most browsers support autofill and I think Mews should make use of that. It will bring more convenience for guests.

  20. Why is it not possibile to add a new company to a mother company while creating it? Actually we have to create a new company and afterwards open the company profile again to add a mother company. We need to add the mother company for the statistcs.
