Allow to set "hours" in the minimum advance restrictions
At the moment, the system only allows to create minimum advance by days. Sometimes we want to have a release of 6 or 12 hours not the entire day but the system doesn't give that option.
Would be great to have this for establishment that don't have reception 24h.40 votes -
Aplly different rates for each day as per revenue management rules
It is compulsory to be able to apply different rates and the same reservation for each day, otherwise it is not possible to have a correct report with the right ADR each day. I have thought that this would be possible on MEWS. I am a little suprise that this is not possible.

Idea for group summary
Would be helpful to have a feature for the group summary, that shows how many adults + childen are in the group. Now it shows only total amount of people.

Add filters for different views on invoices
We should be able to put filter on invoices, for example, order by date, by room number, by item, so it is easier for guests and staff to read the invoice!

Improve house account loading speed
House Accounts which are regularly used tend load/open slowly due to high volumes of transactions.
Can we move historical data (90days and older) to a separate account or only load the most recent data when opening the account (last 60 days)
This will assist efficiency and speed when charging to house accounts.

Remove the need to generate a second invoice to close the bill when the deposit is 100% of the stay
Remove the need to generate an Invoice if the prepayment (Deposit) was 100% of the stay.
Currently, if we generate a Deposit to add the customer prepayment we need to generate the Invoice (in advanced) with the IVA tax (it may be country specific).
Even if the prepayment covers 100% of the customer bill we still need to generate a second Invoice (zero amount) after checkout to be able close the bill. This second Invoice is time consuming and very confuse.1 voteHello all,

Regenerating Proformas
Enable Regeneration of a Proforma invoice without generating a new number. Sometimes you just need to generate the save Proforma to print it or resend it to a client. If you haven't saved it on your PC, you need to regenerate it and then it assigns a new number.

VAT 0 for every items paid by Complimentary external payment
Who wants to pay VAT on something we didn't get paid for !!!!
When an item is offered with the Complimentary external payment, cancel the VAT of the item.

Allow Minimum Rate Setting on Rate Management
As revenue managers, we sometimes need to change many dates in one go. Unfortunately, mistakes can be made that can lead to reservations with the wrong rate (a really low one).
It surprised me to realise that MEWS did not have a way to set a minimum rate to be sent to the booking channels as SiteMinder does. We should be able to set the rate we do not want to sell cheaper than that year round. For instance, if we never sell our master rate for less than 59 Euro, it would be great that Mews would not allow…47 votes -
Dynamic slots for check-in and check-out times and their monetization

Currently hotels have fixed slots for check-in and check-out times. Obviously guests can sometimes make use of early check-in or late check-out services at an extra cost. So far this has been the smartest and most flexible way of managing the demand for different arrival and departure times. This requires a lot of manual interference from front desk teams, who need to manage the inventory, add additional items on the bill and have to manually approve or reject the early check-in or late departure.

Notifications needed for new same day bookings
Please include a pop up note on the dashboard or send it as a message in MEWS for new same day arrivals/bookings created on the day for the day - to assist in preparation for arrivals. The channel manager emails are not sufficient and reliable enough to reach the right group of people.

Add agent or company to check-out report
It would be great if you can see where the checked out reservations comes from. Maybe by selected in the column to the right. It makes it easier for us to send out the bills afterwards. Now you can selected customers notes and reservations notes.

improve house use function
think you need to work on that feature a bit so reception aware when a HOUSE USE room checks in, make sure there is a check in and check out solution – otherwise, how do we know if the members of staff is in the room or not???
And also room changes should be allowed instead of having to delete a space block and create a new one.
A House room use is a reservation like any other, the only difference is that it does not count into the inventory and revenue.

Rate History
Display the final value for the fully flex rate in the rate management calender instead of changing everything back to the base rate after 2 weeks. Allows us to track the ratemanagement history

Split a big room into multiple smaller rooms
There is already an option in the "properties" tab to split a reservation over time after check in. Can we add the similar option for big rooms? So we have a 10 person room. When this is overbooked, I want to split it into a 4 and a 6 person room, with a simple "split room"option. Than we fill out the rates per room, or there is an option to take the old total costs and aply them to the new "split up" version according to number of guests. Meaning that 40% of the original costs go to the 4…

Messaging function upgrade
I love the new feature that the guest can contact us via chat. However, it's not very easy that the guestchat and the intern chat is on the same page. also it is not possible to delete a person in the group (for example when they left, or acidentaly add the wrong person) also a delete button for a chat would be great (intern). does the guest chat also be saved in their

Bulk enter optional Reservations
We have groups that come through our property often and know their days well in advance, however there is a contract in place and they must let us know x amount of days in advance if they want to keep that reservation.
I'd like Mews to develop a way to bulk input multiple "optional" reservations at the same time rather then entering each resv one by one

Ability to suspend a user account
It is only possible to delete or create a user in Mews => We would need Mews to offer the possibility to suspend an account or desactivate it for a given period of time
