  1. Dear Mews,

    Would it be possible creating an availability report, similar that you can download in excel on the dashboard, where we can see a room type with remaining number of rooms in a row under each other, top row the dates and button row the overall number of availability and occupancy? Like below example?

                           23.06        24.06
    

    Room 1 5 1
    Room2 7 1
    Availability: 12 2
    Occupancy: 70% 95%

    It would help making price decisions and knowing when to apply minimum stays or close sales.

  2. An option to cancel the invoice which would then post all the charges on that invoice back onto the billing tab with the original consumption date. From there we can then negative out what needs to be cancel and then settle the charges as required. This would be a great option for accounts that are settled via EFT.

  3. When you try to delete a rate, it can be very frustrating to have to find out it is linked to your channel manager / has restrictions / linked to another rate / has a voucher....
    why not allow you tick boxes to do this whilst you are in the rate you want to delete?
    it took me about 5 minutes for something that should be able to be done in 30 seconds!

  4. Il faudrait pouvoir avoir une alerte lorsque l'on fait une résa et qu'on rappelle le profil d'un client black list, que le client n'est pas le bienvenue...
    Actuellement, il faut attendre de regarder la résa sur "gérer" pour s'apercevoir que le client est black listé.

  5. When adding a product, it is automatically added to all booking engines. However, we offer different products in different booking engines (for example for certain events or retreats). Please enable to add or delete products to certain booking engines or to restrict products from other booking engines or rates.

  6. Would it be useful if it was possible to generate a direct booking url for each rate you create.

    This will enable you to link your promotions directly to the Booking Engine.

    It will also allow you to provide your corporate clients with a link directly to their rate, as a supplement to the rate access voucher

  9. To expand on the new Group Blocks feature, I would love a simple Group Block Agreement form/report that summarizes the number of rooms blocked, the dates associated with the rooms and the nightly (pre-tax) rooms rate.

    It would have a customizable "terms" section where we can note cancelation policies, block release date etc and have a signature page for the client to sign.

    Right now we have to generate this outside of Mews, which creates additional work. Happy to send you a sample of what we are looking for!

    Which types of groups would you typically add "terms' for? For example corporates or leisure. 

  10. It would be nice to have the option in the set up to choose to deduct or not the rooms Out of Order from the inventory when calculating the Occupancy rate

  11. It would be more efficient to be able to see if an invoice is sent, through the action log of the invoice itself, rather than going to ''mail'' and setting all the filters. Sometimes debtors claim that they did not receive their invoice, this would be an easy way to check this.

  12. Is there a way to move one or more bookings from one group to either a new one or another already excising group?
    merge doesn't work as it somehow moves ALL the group bookings even if you only have ticked those that you need to move.
    if not possible, could it be made possible please as sometimes you add a booking by mistake and now you need to cancel it and make again. if the guest is already in-house, that is of course not an option!

At the moment cancellation Policy for products on a rate group is determined by that products way it is consumed, so say for instance I want to charge the guest for only the first night room tax and breakfast, the breakfast still gets charged for every day of the stay if it is defined to be consumed nightly. this leads to much manual work for frontdesk to be able to charge the cancellation fee correctly.
    A way for the products to be charged a cancellation fee "individually" according to that specific rate group seems the way to adjust this.

  15. It would be very helpful for us if it was possible for managers to display the prices for a price query / new booking despite rate restrictions (for example MLOS).

  16. Automatic block on space prior to arrival and after departure, to ensure enough time to prepare space for the next guest. This is important for units or during peak periods, so that space isn't booked back-to-back when cleaning capacity is limited.

  17. extra bed in item to be added automatically when the room is booked for 3.
    Although we put in rate and room description that for the 3rd guest, extra £25 will be added for the extra bed, any prepaid rate plans debit the guest for the whole stay excluding the extra bed £25 per night. As a result, some guests refuse to pay the extra amount after having been debited.

  18. We invoice companies and often have to add a reference or Purchase order number (PO number.) currently this is only able to do as part of a travel agency booking. which means you have to assign an agent, add your reference number, delete the agent.
    would it be possible to add a generic reference field which is always available on the reservation screen.

  19. Is it possible to have 2 differente check box during the reservation process? The content is too long to put both themes inside
