With the addition of close to arrival and close to departure restrictions, you can easily specify those dates when you'd like to restrict either check-ins or checkouts.

Rate split tooltip in NNRS
Right now, it is only possible to check rate totals when creating a new reservation. Even then, the total price is shown based only on the currently selected rate for stay and products added. A rate query tool would be a great option to help clarify and check prices, availability, and restrictions that may apply to different rates, with or without certain products. This additional functionality could also help revenue, sales, and marketing departments to save time and streamline their efforts.
