  1. To enhance the visibility and usability of the loyalty program interface by introducing tier-based color differentiation for the loyalty icon. This change aims to improve user experience for both guests and staff by making member status instantly recognizable. This would help the staff members to quickly identify loyalty tier during check-in or service interactions, members would feel more recognized and valued.

    It is recommended that the double room supplement is shown separately from the single price on the invoice. This is particularly advantageous for business travellers who are travelling with a companion and require a separate invoice.

  3. Our operations and guest experience would be so much smoother if tasks were automatically assigned to a specified department when a product is added! Product options currently only automatically assign tasks if a product is added during online check-in. This should be an option when a product is added during any step of the guest journey - either by the guest or by the reservations specialist.

  4. Description:
    Currently, when adjusting the number of guests in a reservation, Mews either:

    Keeps the total price unchanged (with "Keep old price" ticked), deducting additional product charges (e.g., city tax, breakfast, or other per-person fees) from the accommodation rate—distorting the original pricing structure.
    Recalculates the total price (with "Keep old price" unticked), updating the room rate to the current pricing, which can lead to unjustified price increases for guests if rates have changed since booking.

    The Problem:
    There is no automated way to:

    Preserve the original nightly rate (as agreed upon at booking).
    Recalculate and add all per-person product charges…

  5. Would be very useful to have a report in Mews that lists our hotel's most loyal guests, who have stayed/spent the most. This would make it easier to identify the guests e.g. for recognition purposes.

  8. We work extensively with product rules in Mews and have encountered a recurring challenge: the inability to define a start and end date for product rules. This limitation creates significant complications, particularly when we need to add or replace products in existing rules.

    The Issue:

    When a product is added to an existing product rule, it is automatically applied to all future reservations, including those that were created before the change but have not yet been checked in.   9. When a booking is made after 4pm for the same day, a payment link is automatically sent to the booker to request payment in full for this confirmed reservation. This link is valid for 15 minutes. If the booker does not complete payment, the reservation should be automatically cancelled.

  11. It would be great to have a way to visually identify which members belong to the same group within the timeline and check-in screen.

    For example, groups could be represented through color coding, icons, or visual markers. This would make it immediately clear at a glance who belongs together, without having to check details or hover over tooltips.

    Possible approaches could include:

    Assigning a unique color to each group (e.g. pastel backgrounds or small colored indicators).

    Adding group icons or symbols next to each member’s name.

    Displaying group borders or headers to clearly separate teams or related entries.

  12. Inventory on products should be possible. For instance limit a certain product such as pet to only x number sold pr. day.
    As of now we have to close an entire product for all dates if this is sold out on one date.
    This is causing loss of potential revenue as well as poor service for the guests.

  13. Besides the stay service we work with parking and bicycles. For example if the guests books a room including car park, the parking spot will be added as a "parking" service and gets assigned a unique reservation number.

    The problem that occurs now is that the room and parking are not linked together; meaning that when the room gets cancelled or amended, the parking spot will stay as it is and will need to be cancelled or amended manually.

    We are looking for a way to link the two types of spaces together.

  14. I would like a confirmation for packages without mentioning all products from the reservation. These products are set as “Bill as package” anyway and are not shown separately on the guest's bill either. Just mentioning the rate name and total amount on the confirmation would be sufficient. Perhaps with the extension of the textual content of the package.

  15. We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.

  17. Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code" for the group block. This becomes a nightmare when collecting rate code data from Mews API. Especially when ONLY American English is auto-generated for short name. Default language is based on user, not property so if one user has something else than American English, then the rate code name in database becomes blank. it should auto generate in american english short name no matter what language user uses.

  18. When a reservation is created, it would be very helpful if the associated calendar entries were displayed directly.

    This would allow users to see all relevant calendar information in one place, without needing to switch between availibilty screen for example and create a new reservation. It would also help teams coordinate more efficiently, avoid scheduling conflicts, and maintain a clearer overview of upcoming bookings and events.

    Ideally, this could include:

    A visual calendar view showing linked in the "new reservation screen)

    This enhancement would streamline operations and improve visibility for front-desk and management teams.

  19. It would be useful if you could also see the address when merging the companies and travel agencies. Often there are branches that only differ in their address. This is not apparent from the current comparison.

    Ideally, I could also decide right here whether the address should be transferred. This would avoid the subsequent deletion action because both addresses are currently transferred.

  20. Allow for multiple versions of the same parent space/room linked with different combinations of child rooms.

    For example, create Villa 1 with (101 as the parent) and 102, 103 and 104 as the children, but we also want to create Villa 1 connector (with 101 as the parent and only 102 as the connecting suite).
