Automatic "Minor / Underage" Classification Icon
Description:
A classification icon that is automatically added to the guest profile, when adding the guest's information - visible next to the guest's name in the dashboards, guest profile, timeline ect.Similar to the "female" icon or other classification icons like "returning", "staff" or "blocklist".
This would help streamlining our operation, especially when dealing with groups like school/student groups as well as help identifying underage guests that booked individually (which is only possible under certain conditions to be in line with the law and requires different/additional steps upon check-in).

To enhance the visibility and usability of the loyalty program interface by introducing tier-based color differentiation for the loyalty icon. This change aims to improve user experience for both guests and staff by making member status instantly recognizable. Currently, when adjusting the number of guests in a reservation, Mews either:Keeps the total price unchanged (with "Keep old price" ticked), deducting additional product charges (e.g., city tax, breakfast, or other per-person fees) from the accommodation rate—distorting the original pricing structure.

Start/End Date Functionality in Product Rules
We work extensively with product rules in Mews and have encountered a recurring challenge: the inability to define a start and end date for product rules. This limitation creates significant complications, particularly when we need to add or replace products in existing rules.

Automatically assign a task when a product is added
Our operations and guest experience would be so much smoother if tasks were automatically assigned to a specified department when a product is added! Product options currently only automatically assign tasks if a product is added during online check-in. This should be an option when a product is added during any step of the guest journey - either by the guest or by the reservations specialist.

Easier identification of groups
It would be great to have a way to visually identify which members belong to the same group within the timeline and check-in screen.
For example, groups could be represented through color coding, icons, or visual markers. This would make it immediately clear at a glance who belongs together, without having to check details or hover over tooltips.
Possible approaches could include:
Assigning a unique color to each group (e.g. pastel backgrounds or small colored indicators).

Would be very useful to have a report in Mews that lists our hotel's most loyal guests, who have stayed/spent the most. This would make it easier to identify the guests e.g. for recognition purposes.

It would be great to have a list of all pro formas that have been sent, because now they cannot be found anymore once it is sent.

Auto cancellation when same day reservation (made after 4pm) does not complete payment link
When a booking is made after 4pm for the same day, a payment link is automatically sent to the booker to request payment in full for this confirmed reservation. This link is valid for 15 minutes. If the booker does not complete payment, the reservation should be automatically cancelled.

Inventory count on products
Inventory on products should be possible. For instance limit a certain product such as pet to only x number sold pr. day.
As of now we have to close an entire product for all dates if this is sold out on one date.

Confirmation package without listing all products included
I would like a confirmation for packages without mentioning all products from the reservation. These products are set as “Bill as package” anyway and are not shown separately on the guest's bill either. Just mentioning the rate name and total amount on the confirmation would be sufficient. Perhaps with the extension of the textual content of the package.

Cancel bookable service together with room reservation
Besides the stay service we work with parking and bicycles. For example if the guests books a room including car park, the parking spot will be added as a "parking" service and gets assigned a unique reservation number.
The problem that occurs now is that the room and parking are not linked together; meaning that when the room gets cancelled or amended, the parking spot will stay as it is and will need to be cancelled or amended manually.
We are looking for a way to link the two types of spaces together.

Group by Room number instead of Spaces
Guest in House report: Sorting out the order by Room Number. now it is possible only by using spaces which doesn't put the list in practical order. Would be nice to get the report out ordering by room number so its easier for the breakfast staff to read the report

Age Categories
We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.

Be able to change the customer without have it add them as an additional guest first
You should be able to change the customer on a reservation without first having to add them as a companion. The current process creates an unnecessary and inefficient workflow.
For example, if a booker initially makes a reservation under Joe Smith but later wants to change the guest name to Jane Doe, the hotel reservations agent must:
1. Change the reservation to two guests
2. Add Jane Doe as a companion
3. Assign Jane Doe as the primary guest
4. Remove Joe Smith from the reservation

Improving Restriction Creation Flow with calendar view
When using the calendar view and adding a restriction, after saving, you are automatically redirected to the list of restrictions, which means leaving the calendar view. Therefore, after each addition, you need to go back to the calendar and reapply the filters to display the desired dates.
I considered the solution of opening two windows—one to keep the calendar view open and the other to create restrictions. However, this does not solve the problem: when a restriction is created in one window, the other window needs to be refreshed to display it, and this refresh resets the filters and returns…
