  1. Sometimes you have to manually retrieve reservations via the Booking or Expedia integration. It would be great if you could specify “Retrieve all reservations created between date X and date Y” so that not all bookings are transferred again. We often have cases where changes that have already been made are no longer there when the booking is transferred again. Usually, you know on which day there was a glitch, and you would only have to retrieve the reservations that were created on that day.

  2. It would be very helpful if there was a cross-search bar for product within the billing window. There is a cross-search sanction within the additional services, but often not everyone knows which product is in which additional service. Therefore, a general cross-search function would be helpful.

  3. It would be great if you could specify not only your preferred space features, but also your preferred floor. We generally allocate rooms from top to bottom, but we have a few guests who prefer to stay on the ground floor because they don't use the elevator, so that would be very convenient.

  4. When using the calendar view and adding a restriction, after saving, you are automatically redirected to the list of restrictions, which means leaving the calendar view. Therefore, after each addition, you need to go back to the calendar and reapply the filters to display the desired dates.

    I considered the solution of opening two windows—one to keep the calendar view open and the other to create restrictions. However, this does not solve the problem: when a restriction is created in one window, the other window needs to be refreshed to display it, and this refresh resets the filters and returns…

  6. Semi revert the changes of the new ledger/ bring back the old ledger.

    The old ledger was too long with all the prepayments but it had the best insight in to be resolved bills. In the current guest ledger I have a bigger list, with bills that have been closed for months but are now showing because the usage date is today. Which causes more clutter then before.

  12. Right now the maximum people any space category can accomodate in Mews is 100 p. when you do the space category set up. Our restaurant can accomodate almost 300p.

    It would be great if the maximum could me increased for the bigger venues such as restaurant and meeting room

  13. Currently, policy exceptions (e.g., special rules for events or holidays) are evaluated based on the arrival date. As a result, exceptions do not apply when guests arrive before the event period begins – even if part of their stay falls within that period.

    Example: For New Year’s Eve we normally require a deposit. However, this deposit is not charged if the guest arrives before the New Year’s Eve policy exception begins, even though their stay includes the event dates.

    Improvement Proposal:
    Policy exceptions should not be based on the arrival date but should instead be evaluated using the stay dates.…

  14. There is no place to restrict for example reservations with specific rate codes to check in from the kiosk. This means that people that should have been forced to check in from the front desk for example for a registration of some type of gift cards, validation of employees on employee rates etc can check in through the kiosk without any form of validation.

  15. We’re running into the same issue almost daily. A guest checks into a room, stays only a few minutes or an hour, then switches to another room. Mews immediately flips that first room back to “Dirty,” even though it was fully cleaned and inspected earlier that day.

    Housekeeping ends up wondering why a clean room suddenly looks like it needs a full turnover when, in reality, it only needs a quick touch-up. It slows the team down and creates unnecessary backtracking.

    What we really need are two things:

    1. Automatic “Pickup” logic for short occupancy

    Can we please implement a log for user management actions?
    Right now, there is no tracking in place to see who created, deleted, or modified a user. Adding this log will help us monitor changes, ensure accountability, and maintain accurate records.

  19. Current Behavior:

    • Registration cards can be printed, but the print order does not reflect the sequence configured in Mews.
    • Each guest and companion currently receives separate registration cards, even when they share the same room.

    Problem:

    • The print logic ignores the user-defined order, likely due to a static sort or default template behavior.
    • Printing separate cards for guests and companions increases paper usage and operational overhead.

    Proposed Solution:

    1. Ordering Logic: Update the print functionality to dynamically apply the configured order from registration card settings when generating print jobs.

  20. Add dietary wishes in guest in house report. In this way accommodations who don't work with Mews POS can also make a kitchen report easily. Right now we have to do a lot of manual work.
