"Overdue" Label for Issued Invoices in Search Bar When Receivable Tracking is disabled
For hotels with the "receivable tracking" not enabled, It would be nice to consider removing the Overdue Label for past issued invoices in the Mews Search Bar. The label does not show anywhere other than the search bar.
There is no way to act on it, but seeing it leaves the impression that the users must act on it.

Booking engine guest journey
It would be nice to turn around to guest journey in the booking engine, so the guest are presented for the different prices and/or packages first and then then can select which room type they would prefer.
Adding a calendar to show prices would also be great.

Display accounting report by day/week/month/etc.. Currently, when selecting a time period, the report shows all revenue posted in that time as totals per category. If you want to find data on a day by day, or month by month, etc., you have to set the filters up separately each time.

Op dit moment kunnen producten in de boekingsmodule alleen toegevoegd worden door de gast, op de wijze waarop het product toegevoegd is in Mews operations. Dat betekent wanneer in Mews operations aangegeven staat dat het product 'eenmalig' geboekt wordt, de gast deze niet vaker dan een keer kan bijboeken in de boekingsmodule. Dat is jammer van de omzet en levert herwerk op: de meeste gasten komen met z'n tweeën en willen het product dan vaker dan een keer toevoegen.

For example, create Villa 1 with (101 as the parent) and 102, 103 and 104 as the children, but we also want to create Villa 1 connector (with 101 as the parent and only 102 as the connecting suite).

Restricting child stays in space categories
Hi
We have 9 room (Space) types in our hotel - 3 of which are unsuitable for children due to space.
I would like to have the option as I do with our current provider, to be able to choose which rooms can be offered with guests bringing children. So rather than offer all rooms on the DBM, only offer the specific room types that can accomodate familes.
Is this something that will be availble to us as we are currently onboarding and I feel this is going to cause many problems when we make the switch1 vote -
Do not grant permission to download client reports while still allowing access to guest contact
I’d like to raise a potential security issue in Mews. In the user role settings, there is currently no option to prevent the download of client reports while still allowing access to guest contact details within individual reservations. While it is possible to restrict access to "sensitive reports" such as financial or management reports, the most sensitive report is arguably the client database, as this is what hackers typically target and download to launch phishing or cyberattacks.
A receptionist should not be able to export the entire client database to Excel, especially considering that many hotels rely on temporary staff…

Extension Logic for Checked-In Guests
We’ve noticed an operational challenge when trying to extend the check-out time or stay of a guest who is already checked in. Currently, Mews requires the room to be unlocked and automatically moves the active reservation to a different space, which creates operational problems since the guest is physically already in the room. This is especially challenging for Medium to large size Hotels.
Our expectated behaviour is:
The in-house reservation should remain in its current room.
The following reservation (new guest) should be automatically moved to another available space or flagged as overbooking if none are available.

Improve Printing Options for Reservation Report
Currently, the option to print a reservation report isn't very useful because it tries to print too many columns and it doesn't display the information very well. It would be great to be able to fully customize the columns in the reservation report and then have a better option to print the report. My team likes to print the reservation report daily, but they don't need all of the default columns that are included in the report when you try and print it. Sorting Customer Profiles by surname
I wish we had the possibility to sort the "customer profile" list by names.
When customers book a room with us through some of the booking sites, it automatically creates a brand new profile. So we can have one guest with: multiple upcoming- and past bookings, but he has them spread over 8 different profiles. This makes it hard to find bookings, payments, bills and contact information. It is important for us to merge them, so we can collect all his information on one profile.

Reservation cut off
Being able to set a reservation cut off would greatly help properties that are not staffed 24/7.
For example, setting a reservation cut off time at 10pm if front desk closes at 10pm to avoid guests booking after front desk has closed. This would be so helpful for properties like ours that can not be staffed 24/7

Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code"
Whenever you create a block, Mews makes a "virtual rate code" for the group block. This becomes a nightmare when collecting rate code data from Mews API. Especially when ONLY American English is auto-generated for short name. Default language is based on user, not property so if one user has something else than American English, then the rate code name in database becomes blank. it should auto generate in american english short name no matter what language user uses.

kiosk check in balance
The guest can check in at kiosk even if the balance is 1.000 DKK - due routing rule. Company has a) guest who always get sent a bill to company and b) guest who needs to pay themselves at the hotel. The host gets the room amount back to guest profile from company, but the kiosk do not ask the guest to pay. So the guest check in and out without paying.

Often we require the guests address for statistics or police reporting purposes. It would be great if guest address would be part of the rooming list to bulk upload those addresses.

All governmental and municipality has EAN numbers in Denmark for billing.
