Prevent to rent a dirty room on the same day
We are a self check-in hotel, and we want to prevent last-minute reservations from being assigned to dirty rooms. Currently, the restriction for dirty rooms only applies at the check-in stage.
Because there are not always staff onsite and we often receive last-minute reservations, this creates stress around guests booking rooms that are still marked as dirty. In these situations, guests are unable to check in, and there is no one available to assist them.
Right now, this requires a lot of manual work to mark dirty rooms as Out of Order to prevent them from being rented.
It would be very useful to have a setting that prevents dirty rooms from being booked after a specific time of day. Another option could be automatically setting rooms to Out of Order if they remain dirty after a certain hour, or simply removing them from availability.
We also don’t have the Enterprise version, so setting up a Zapier automation isn’t an option for us.

We’re facing the same issue on our end. With over 400 rooms, we sometimes need to block 80+ rooms at once, and the current process is quite time-consuming.
Ideally, a bulk “Out of Order” option would help significantly.
Also, there’s a related limitation: if a room (e.g., #123) is marked as dirty in the morning but will be ready by check-in time, we still want it available online to maximize sellable inventory. With your idea, that flexibility is missing.
Having better control over room status vs. availability would make a big difference operationally.

For boutique properties without 24-hour staff, and depending on seasonality, not all rooms may be cleaned every single day. To operate without onsite staff, workflows such as automatic prevention of dirty rooms should be in place.
