  5. Currently, you can enable or disable automatic sending of these emails. However, with this idea, you could specify to whom you would like or wouldn't like to send 'after start' and 'after end' emails

  6. For F&B to be able top post the correct breakfast product for certain guest having a discounted rate (i.e. corporate guests, airline crews..)

  7. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  8. It would be helpful if files like Confirmations/Contracts could be added to a Block. For most blocks we have seperate contracts that need to be attached to the block on a high level like Dashboard or Block Details. Then all contracts & Documents are on the Master Block and could be easily tracked

  9. Every other PMS system I have used categorises Notes on bookings.
    This really is a feature that needs developing In MEWS.

    There should be various boxes, one for Housekeeping Notes/ One for F&B notes/ Spa etc ...
    These teams can then print off reports for notes just for them, without having to wade through things that are irrelevant

    Also one for Public notes ( visible for Guests to see on confirmations and online Kiosks for self check in )

    Private notes for Internal notes - visible only for staff & hidden from Guests.

    This makes for a seamless guest journey,…

  10. There are common questions guests ask, it would save a lot of time if we can create our own templates for replies to the guest messages (like in booking.com) and just select the one we want to reply to the guest message.

  11. We would like to send the guest an offer with different room categories and it should be possible for them to confirm only 1 room and reject all others.

  12. When we open our arrival donut report we would like to see really quickly who paid and who didn't pay.

    For example: green dot-paid everyhing, yellow dot, an amount less than 50 euros to be paid and red dot more dan 50 euros to pay.

  13. Instead of overbooking, we use Inquired Reservations as a waiting list to optimise occupancy. It'd be great to get notified when a reservation is cancelled that there are inquired reservations for that date which can potentially now be confirmed.

  17. UK properties are keen using the identity scanner. As it is not required to have a passport with you as British citizen, a driving license is an official proof of ID as well. it would be great if the passport scanner can be enhanced and would scan UK driving licenses as well.

  18. We are using Mews primarily from an iPad. Because mobile support hasn't been fully added yet, it means that we have about 1/6 of the top of the screen permanently showing controls.

    However, simply adding the code below will allow us to save Mews as a Web App, and if we save it to link to the home screen, opening it from there will display Mews with limited control.

    In the long run, maybe make sure that Mews is a PWA can also do it. Here's some great examples:

  19. I see a lot of cool ideas from all Mews customers, but it would be so nice if any hotel could comment on each idea.

    If I put in a idea I need to wait a very long time for the voting process. What I would suggest, when a new idea is written by a hotel, is that Mews sends a message or emails to all its hotels (divided over several days to prevent spam emails). I am not looking at the new ideas a lot, because I am too busy with other things. If I would be notified I…

    Hello from the Mews Product Team. Thanks very much for your feedback on our portal. This is a great suggestion. As you mentioned, we don't yet send e-mails for every idea posted as it can get overwhelming. However, we are happy to take this into consideration and will look into finding the right way to keep all of our customers informed.

  20. Some products are being used in stay but are also used in service.
    For example we have rental bikes that are booked in advance, but are also rented out by guests from outside the hotel. They don't have a booking with us, we book this on a paymaster but have to recreate the products we already have with the stay products. It would be great if we van connect or copy them in some way. Or make them available in the billing screen aswell.
