An error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Igor Kost commentedCurrently there are privileges to allow or prevent employees from posting cash payments and online Merchant payments, but nothing prevents an employee form creating terminal card payments or external payment.
This is also an issue when employees believe they've created a Merchant payment and charged the guest, when in fact they simply posted a Terminal payment, thus creating more complications for the property and guests.

Now you can add special events or notes in your Enterprise Settings. These show as an icon & note on the Timeline & Rate Management screens, and on the Availability and Occupancy reports.

Hi there Mewsers!
You’ve asked and we’ve listened.
We upgraded the action log to make it more detailed and easier to use.
Below are some of the additional details that we’ve added.
Before, when a reservation moved to a different room, you couldn’t see which room it was in originally—now you’ll always see exactly how the reservation looked before and after each change.
We’ve enhanced updates for products. You’ll now be able trace for example, the additions of order items as well as the price adjustments made to your products.
And finally on the pricing side, no need for a calculator! You can now monitor and report on changes to prices with the both net and gross values, as well as the affects the changes you’ve made have on taxes.
We will continue working on updates to the action log for different sections of the system. Stay tuned for more!

An error occurred while saving the comment Igor Kost commentedYep, this is great idea. It could work either by duplicating the task and keeping the relationship 1xtask-1xbooking. Or being able to have an extra fields on the Task creation screen from the Tasks List, or being bale to do a task for multiple bookings selected on the reservation edit screen. Could also work based on Group Name we could input - loads of options!

Hi Mews Team,
As we grow and develop different access levels for departments, the option to switch this access on and off for front desk and reservation departments is key. This will support guest engagement and making sure the guest has been sent the right documents.
This is major request as Mews has no functionality on automatically sending the invoice at check out as the bill is closed - per segment/rate or company!
